Hey all, Im new to the forum so thought I'd get a project started for my Leon Cupra R. I bought the car around a month ago and love it. Here's a few pics from when I bought it:

So far it has a TT front strut brace, Hughes rear strut brace, medium tints all round and I have recently fitted some 6k HID's and a K1 Cupra badge:

Plans for now:

- Get L16 JAY private plate transferred
- Front bumper respray
- Alloy refurb in light grey
- Brembo re-laquer
- Lowered 40/50mm
- Exhaust relocated to center

I need to keep this practical as a daily driver so I wont be going mad. I have just finished buiding my Corsa GSi Turbo which will be in Total Vauxhall soon. Here come the pics!:

Im sure I was looking at this Cupra R when I bought mine, not sure.

The GSI is mint mate, my first car 11 years ago was a 1.2 corsa premier, your GSI is lovely whats it running???

Cheers mate. Last dyno'd at 260bhp but will be running around 290bhp now as its on new chips, larger intercooler, Walbro 255 and some cossie fuelling bits.

Just spotted this, car looks nice mate. The wheels have been refurbed right? Look much better than my standard dull boys which are desperately calling out for a refurb. Do you know what finish these are?

Cheers mate. Yeh they have been sprayed by the previous owner. They're silver with a black dusting on the inner spokes. They look ok but it's starting to flake a little and there are a few dents in them. I'm having them refurbed next week and finished in Ford Magnum Grey so interested to see how they turn out. :)

Yeh they did the mk1 Focus ST170 in it I believe. Looks smart. Well this is my daily driver now so I can't go too mad like previous projects but my main objective is just to keep it real clean and neat. After the wheels and bumpers have been sprayed I'll be lowering it. May just go springs to start with then onto some coilovers. :)

Update:

Had a few bits done to my car this week. The wheels were in a bad way with curbing and flaking from a previous paint job so it was time to give them a spruce:

Also, the front bumper had seen better days. The Laquer was peeling in various areas, the paint was flat and I also received a heafty chip from some sign which flew off a van on the motorway. This was on the way back from buying the car no less!

After much consideration, I decided to go darker with the wheels. The Farodo pads kick off some serious dust so even though I love light wheels, I went with Ford Magnum grey metallic:

I even had the inside of the wheels painted AND laquered (I'm that pedantic)

Looks good mate, although I'm not keen on the R centre caps, but I say that to every person that changes to those.

I want that cleaning cupboard, not the stuff in it (I already have a good collection) just the cupboard lol
