Interesting indeed...max input torque 350Nm? That's around 260ftlb I believe, which is below the standard output of the 110Kw/150bhp PD engine?
hmm not sure what 150bhp pd engine you know,, but the normal 150bhp 1,9 8v tdi pd from golf and leon have 320Nm. or am i wrong?
.....I was more surprised that according to that document the gearbox isn't even strong enough to put in the standard car it was bought with!

when the 150 pd first came out there was some close scrutineering on warranty claims as it was rumoured to be pushing the limits a bit at the time
must admit they have been proving the fears wrong so far it seems
