Hi guys..

I'm getting the following codes regularly after clearing them..

16804 - Catalyst System: Bank 1: Efficiency Below Threshold
P0420 - 35-00 - -

16514 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Malfunction in Circuit
P0130 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

I get an occasional pop/misfire between gears when booting it. No other codes logged.

I've done a fair bit of searching and it seems some folks found a lambda replacement solved it, others did plugs. Can anybody suggest a cheap source of lambda probes? ...and is B1 S1 the one before the cat?

Well, I've found some info now..

Manufacturer Part..........................................Bosch Part
06A906260N (Front sensor)...........................0258006213
6K0906262B (Rear Sensor)...........................0258006266

Off to buy front sensor from eBay - can somebody add this to the parts FAQ, it might help us save cash.

B1 S1 is indeed before the CAT.

Well, I started and finished my own question here so I thought I'd post up that a change in Lambda sensor, pre-cat seems to have resolved this. I found the part for £65 on eBay, the original Bosch sensor as above, which is much cheaper than the dealer.

Easy to change, too.

Hopefully this will help someone in the future.

Hi, Got the same error today when getting the MOT done...

16514 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Malfunction in Circuit
P0130 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

You have answered my question regarding where the sensor is B1 S1 before cat and will have a go at this over the weekend. Thanks.
