Hey folks,

First 2 runs done in 3rd gear, last one in 4th.

EDIT: Can't get the (CODE) (/CODE) to display it in a decent format - so here is the spreadsheet itself:

What should a remapped 1.8T be seeing on the MAF? I thought it was around the 220 mark?

Its hard to make out those logs the way you have posted them, Paul.

Could you post them up with the group data at the top of each log (the same way as you see them in excel) please?

You should see circa ~170g/s mate. I was around the same on both stage 1 and stage 2.

Looks like it's requesting - but can't deliver..

Shame that - try looking for leaks / broken hoses

I tried posting as per Excel, but when I did, the columns weren't aligned and I thought it was harder to read like that, so seperated it out.

So looking at my logs then, MAF is fine, as it's not far off what Damoegan suggested.

What do folks think about the N75? I thought it was supposed to sit at around 95%, but I see it dropping to 78% at times (if I am reading the logs right)

I've had a look for broken hoses, but I don't really know where to look for most of them - it's hard to find a leak when the car is idle/off :(

Any suggestions for where to look (common areas perhaps) would be great! Or even anything else I can log to try and find it?

Hoping I've done this right:

Requested vs Actual:

req_vs_act.jpg

Looks like it gets close to requested, albeit a bit slower than it should, but just can't hold it.

I can definately feel the surging - wastegate/n75 opening & closing quite quickly - just assume this is the car TRYING to reach the requested boost, and just not succeeding?

Does the requested boost look right for a stage 1 map? Looks like it's requesting more than Damoegan's logs?

Thanks

I've changed the first post to display it a bit better (don't have an FTP, so converted them into screenshots - now the font is too damn small (lol)

1.4bar requested is fine mate..
is this a k03s turbo, if so no way should this be requesting 1.4bar past 4000 rpm and certainly not at the red line as the turbo will never get anywhere near it. I would question fueling in this case also. What map is it.

The car looks healthy in terms of actual boost achieved and air mass flowed.
Do a search for some logs of other k03 turbos and i'm sure your turbo is every inch equal. What i'd like to see is the comparison of other peoples 115 logs as thier requested and achieved will be very close since their tuner has specified realistic boost requests. An AFR gauge will be good for you as your lambda setup is narrow band and i suspect that you may be running rich if Giac are expecting you to flow the air they are requesting but you not reaching if that makes sense.

Good point, Willy. I hadnt lookt at it very well, just seen it was requesting 1.4bar but didnt look at what rpm it was requesting it..

My k03s is only requesting 0.9bar @ 6k....

Edit: we have a wideband lamda I think, Willy....

Were all working together for the common good and nobody misses things more than me, good job we don't get paid for it for a living.:D

If the ibiza does have a wideband a log of channel 031 would be good.

ok - so suggest any other logs I should get to try and troubleshoot.

I'll try and get logs for channel 031 logged, if it is possible - what about CF's? Are these on channel/block 020?

I think, if the car is hitting around 211-220bhp (which it has achieved on 2 different rollers) then that's all I'd expect from a stage1 map anyway - so powerwise, I'm happy. Torque figures seem to be quite good @ circa 250-270lbft too.

I just want to get rid of the boost surging/fluctuating that I get - I can feel it under WOT, but more-so under mid-throttle.

I'm going to do a TB reset, and I think I may as well swap my N75 valve for the spare I have, unless anyone see's any obvious reasons as to why NOT to do this?
