oh, another one

does the front strut braces really make that much difference to handling at all, as i want to tighten the rear end to reduce understeer??

750 ... right then rear ARB ( eibach or whiteline are a good price ) upper & lower strut brace are also cheap ( i have both S3 ones ) .
I'd leave the remap unless your getting another turbo as you will only gain another 10-15 bhp ( you @ 220 ish now? )
Or the best handling mod available ( just add another 250 ) a Quaife diff .

im thinking stage 2 map as it incorporates custom mapping for the dp and cat

quaife, peloquin,, love to but that is a bit hefty isnt it matey(unless your wifes super rich)

is the upper brace really worth it, did you notice a difference?

yep it keeps the front end level and tyres down when corning , steering seems a little sharper too and will pay for its self soon as tyre where is alot more even.

Hi James

Its 100% worth stage 2 mapping with your new exhaust set up.

I will run it on the dyno and see what we can get out of it :)

so hes at 220 now and he dont have a high flow mani or fmic , so i would say 235 bhp tops with 300 rmp better spool ???

hi p torque

i have a dp and sports cat mate, stock oem cat back.

for £325 15 bhp seems a lot of cash for not a great amount of gain, also thats half way to a peloquin etc...

got stage 1 p-torque, i think 325 to go to stage 2 is a little steep for me to see another 15 brake.

If I were you I'd do the INA engine mounts (street density engine and transmission and track density DBM). Very very nice feel to this set up, this is what I have:) £165 plus say £50 shipping and customs stuff £215 + £10 for OEM bolts £225
S3 upper and lower strutt brace, deffinately £100 inc OEM bolts
Rear ARB, deffinately £65
Plus you'll need a 4 wheel alignment check after these aswell £50
Stage 2 remap. £325

225 + 100 + 65 + 50 + 325 = £765:) close enough

You'll get more than 15bhp :) The torque hike is very big, and torque is held stronger for longer. You'll see this on the before/after dyno runs :)
