tow bar on a FR+ tdi (with pics)

had a fixed swan neck fitted on to the car today, not the most exciting addition im sure but as i need it for work its kinda of a must have. I got it done at my work and kept the small cut out piece as our bodyshop man says it can be welded back it and respray the grey part of the bumper if i take it off. other than that its a good tidy job, all for £185 which isnt bad.

im aure you can get the detachable one , and i think the R bumper you can buy the plastic cut out slot from stealers

the tow bar guy couldnt get me a detatchable, the bosal book wasnt very clear about what does or doesnt fit, but the guide said i shouldnt have one fitted but we couldnt see why not!! also too the bar came with fittings for a seat leon and a vw golf and he used the golf setting because it ended up to close to the back bumper first time but i have to say if it was a standard bumper it wouldnt have been an issue

There was one on my car when I got it from previous owner. factory fitted, is removable with the cut out bit too.
Looks a little ugly but when parking up in London it does protect my lovely bumper from idiots who can't park ! Can pop it off if I go somewhere nice for the weekend.

Been trying all afternoon to get photobucket and imageshack account going, but system just isn't having it?!
God knows why not.
So no pics right now but will keep trying. Today was first time I have taken it off. Doddle.
Insert is black not colour coded as I just found out. looks like the previous owner smudged a little grey paint on it in one corner so I will have to spray it up so it looks ok. Also clips on to the bumper super tight. When I do get a pic up you'll notice it's not pushed fully home on one corner. looked so tight I didn't want to have to yank it back off

Paper work has seat logo top corner and states genuine accessories.

Here it's attached.

Insert not fully on on the right hand side. Also seems to have some smudged paint on left corner. Cack, will need to spray this next week.
