BBS CH 8x18 et35 with 225/40R18 tyres - will they fit the LCR?

just a quick one and found this on a search, just after confirmation.

bbs CH 8x18 et35 with 225/40R18 tyres ok for my LCR without spacers?

well i think the 18" CH rim fits as a few people have them but maybe on a different offset.

anyone with them confirm?

thanks for that mate, hes getting one of the wheels off the car today to confirm.

they are currently on a mk4 golf if that helps?

ok well fingers crossed they are et30 then, says on the inside of the rim somewhere i believe? what are the tell tale signs of copies?

i will find out later, waiting for him to get back from work.

it the car lowered on coilovers , you might need to fit a 3mm spacer on the front to help with clearance of the tire , as i am running 8.5x18 et 30 wheels with 225/40/18 and the car been lowered just abit , and there only about 2mm between the tire and adjuster on the coilover .

I know Lee (sixpot) had fitted a 3mm spacer on his old lcr when it was running 19" ch

nope standard suspension at the moment so clearance should be ok.
