Anyone out there driven (or even bought) an Altea XL with the new 1.8 Tfsi engine?

If so what are your impressions?

Looks an intriguing combination and a good balance of power and economy (also just read a review of the Skoda Octavia with the new engine and it got a good write up). Plus it's considerably cheaper than the Tdi models.

Check the Autoexpress web site, they tested one in July 07. l think they liked it.
