Well just spent 8hrs cleaning and polishing my old derv. The dealer had given it a pollish before I picked it up and it had hologram effect all over which was driving me mad.
Started off with a good rince and cleaned the wheels with mags hot rims. Then it was a good soapy wash with Autoglym shampoo using the 2 bucket methood and a mags wash mit. Then it ws dryed with a mags terry towel (which i found to leave water marks). After that it was cleaned using mags quick detailer/clay bar which is the first time I've used this product. Another quich wash the it was a pollish with Autoglym ultra deep shine for dark cars. The Extra gloss guard protection I would normally apply to coats but the time got the better of me. Mags tyre gel is well recomended by myself which I think has done a great job. Anyway heres a couple of pics. Obviously I'm no pro but my car is a working tool and anymore and its not worth it really.Comments welcome

great improvement, well done

Thanks. As you've maybe see in another thread I was unaware that UDS doesn't work with EGP and only works with SRP. So I'm on the hunt for a good sealer. I was quite impressed with the Ultra Deep Shine. But Over time I will try some better products

UDS doesn't work with EGP... Bugger, just slapped that on mine....AGAIN.

Must've missed that thread....Explains why the other half still has a nice shiny car as used SRP & EGP on her metallic but not my on flat red....

Would someone let me know which thread thats in please. I've had a quick search but finding nothing relevant.

I assume its because the UDS is more of a glaze then? Would this explain why I now have white marks around my stone chips then (lots of those) or would that happen with any sealant?

BTW Beautiful car & great shine, well done !
