Have you ever wanted that ability as in newer seats to be able to change the time between the intermittent wiping wipes. I have found the solution, what you need to do is buy a relay 99 from volkswagen as in this picture

Once youv'e got it just pull out the relay from your car with 19 painted on the back and plug the 99 relay into where the 19 came from. Its as simple as that now all you have to do to set the interval between wipes is first turn the wipers to intermittent then push the stalk back up again then after the time of interval you want (eg the time it's taking for your windscreen to get covered) just push the stalk back into the intermittent posistion again. There are loads of these relay 99's being sold on ebay, i got mine for 99p :D

Im not 100% on what happens when you turn the ignition off but i think it resets itself which is a little bit annoying. I'll do some more investigations into it in a minute

After checking it out, if you switch the ignition off and then on again it resetes to it's standard time of 5 seconds between intervals. But if you turn the wipers off and then you leave it for more than 20 seconds before switching on again it will remember the previous Interval time, any shorter period and it will then change to the interval time between when you switched it off and back on again. So you can get interva times from about 1 second up to 20 seconds.

If you go into euro car parts or similar with the part number 357 955 531 or 1HM 955 531B. Bosch or Beru Most proably also make them themselves but im not sure where to find there part numbers from them.
