Hi all, I bought a RCD 510 (chinese OEM unit) on ebay a while back and installed it. Everything is working fine, but then i decided to add a reversing camera as the unit supports it. Trouble is the RVC ive bought has a yellow plug on it, and the radio doesn't have the same input on the back...

My understanding is that the Infotainment system receives a signal that the car has been put into reverse either via a CAN Bus message or from a voltage via one of the BCM pins, and not from the Rear View Camera. If you think about it logically, the Infotainment system will switch on the OPS...

We'll there was finally enough of a break in the weather to get the reversing camera installed and it works really well, hopefully it may save the wife revering into things :p I will post a couple of pics when I figure out how
