    Cheers, I remember doing one of those in the past on an old Golf, like an ariel bit with a wire from the unit to the ariels amplifier IIRC? I'll look around the local motor spares places during the week to see who's cheapest then! EDIT: I think I had one of these I took out of something years...

    OLD alarm thread alive again... Sorry to dig out such an old thread but my FR TDI alarm started to go off on Friday night, and has done so ever since every half hour - couple of hours. No matter what i do it just keeps coming back. It appears to tie in with rain etc, or just coincidence...

    Yes I agree as well with the previous post, a guy at work once had a smart MR2 - previous model and tended to use thinks like "Lucky Horse" tyres - scarey! There are a few "things" that we seem to get wrong in UK, first "never use winter tyres" - well there is no good government advise on this...
