Or plunge straight in with 1447AIO. Depends what you want to do. Update to the latest firmware and release all the FeC that's the AIO bit, all in one. That bit does what the other Mib2 high tool kit does. One does pretty screens that's the one index above the other liberates the FeCs. Both...
Will pass on the last. That's open up and short those pins.
You shouldn't need the mib2 hight Mr Bonk toolbox just 1447AIO you'll probably have to fiddle with the sound. There is something about the Seat Sound system and Vag files East Yorkshire Retrofit has mentioned that before.
I'd test it...
Plugs are the same there is no sim slot on it. It came from a car with canton audio, not sure if this is the same setup as seat sound. So 1447AIO is the final firmware ?
I am guessing i can install the toolbox and go from that to install the seat firmware.
Is there an easy recovery method if...
So the unit will just accept seat firmware on a skoda unit ? I have the sound datasets for seat sound from a mib2 standard not sure if the high is the same, maybe if someone on the forum has a factory harman unit in a leon they could use car scanner to pull it off.
Reckon that could be the firmware thread. You'd put 1447AIO on it as per the specific thread for that and the trusty Leon 3 thread I referred to. Not forgetting the navigation thread. These unit will take another brands firmware on them. That's happened in the past. Not so sure about the mib2...
well i updated to the latest skoda one first mu1433 which went ok apart from having to turn off MOST to get it to run, tried the seat one but did not like it error: variant conflict
2015 unit and never had an update not even the maps :ROFLMAO:
probably need to edit the metainfo file...
...want them. Obdeleven Pro version or VCDS. Not the micro payment version that just runs specific apps. The pro license allows you to "code".
1447AIO is hobbyist developed code which is clever in what it achieves. You do need to program the unit with it on a battery charger or engine running...
...in it. You got two routes to get them DIY or find a retrofitter and part with cash. DIY is free.
Two routes for DIY you can install the 1447AIO software available on the mib2 solutions that and there is a link here. Two thread one put up by mibwiki and one in the software thread.
What the...
Thanks alot for the answer. Yeah I have been reading some articles above but it was so much info so must have missed that one. I also did not understand the whole Fec-part but now I get it.
Appreciate you took your time explaining it.
I'm not sure.. i checked on mib helper and as most recent version it shows MHS2_ER_AU_P2035 personally coudn't find any aio and despite MHS2(mib2high?) it has sd card with maps. On this car he has added rear camera so maybe then they updated something
Some more background reading on 1447AIO. This is the beta thread that @MIB-Wiki put up. The release one is as the mibsolution link
https://www.seatcupra.net/forums/threads/mib2-mhi2-harman-high-mhi2_er_seg11_p4709_1_mu1447-aio-fw-update-ifs-root-patch-asi-carplay-android-auto-map-update.469828/
...be the Audi version of 1447. Probably. Audi drivers turn up on the Briskoda site looking for the map update after they have their version of 1447AIO. Basically doing the same tricks on the Audi mib2 high firmware. Clever developers getting the metacheck sums right. They must have an automated...
...I posted up above but there is little experience of it here. Mib2 high (Seat Plus) you either use the mib2 high toolkit link above or install 1447AIO. Either of the mib2 high solutions unlocks full link. If your unit uses a map card then it's a mib2 standard. Other tell tail signs is to hit...
Thank you, after reading the waiting screen make sense.
How long should I wait? Today after 12 minutes nothing happend and the circle didnt move. Is this normal?
Or could it be the maximum time of 40 minutes mentioned at the wiki?
...April / May 2022 moving forward check above for experience with AIO. 1447AIO is user enthusiast crafted software that updates the support files beyond the final release of 1447. So you do get updates to recent logos, gracenotes etc.
Check also the mibsolution.one has anything later than this...
..."M.I.B" the Mr Bonk project on Github. At the end of it it should leave your unit booting up as normal if not you might want to switch to the 1447AIO project if you can. The technical firmware experts are on the main firmware thread. This is just mapping. So if the unit is in a weird state...
...The toolkit uses the green menu to interface with the unit to write the FeCs. At the time 1447 was being pushed to me as a solution. Now the 1447AIO is more integrated and has been happily used by a number of people. It is forward compatible with old units but yours isn't so old.
The...
...a card or just doing the download without the overall.nds workaround. Mib2 high you alter the navigation FeCs to long life by a tool box and 1447AIO firmware. East Yorkshire Retrofit will do it for you if you don't want to do DIY. Quite a few people have updated their very old mib2 highs to...
...I'm sure will be similar. Complicated by the trains of mib2 standard... least what I think is going on. Skoda users they may have better mastered that one.
Mib2 high it's the toolkit or 1447AIO which calls the toolkit.... I believe Obdeleven allows existing FeC licences to be reinstalled only.
