Clanging sound from rear right

I've had this clanging/clunking sound suddenly appear about a week ago, it happens when I go over bumps, it's coming from the right rear as far as I can tell.
It sort of sounds metallic and hollow, like something hitting the exhaust or underside of the car, is there anything obvious to check before I head off to the garage?
I'm going to take everything out of the boot and check under the floor etc.

It's a 1.4tsi ST if it makes any difference.

Cheers!

Just the usual suspects but once it's up on a ramp it should be easy enough to find. I had a rattle that was part of the heat shield. Fixed to little studs on the body and they rust.

I spotted packs of "suitable material patches" and new retainers being sold on Temu, I'm sure by now someone in UK, being supplied from far away, will be selling these on ebay.

I've just done one repair to heat shields and when doing so, made up quite a few "suitable material patches" ie like repair washers, from either drinks cans or foodstuff cans, works fine.

I replaced them all, from front to back. I created some pictures for the rear heat shields. I used large rings to accomodate for the parts that rusted away. Replace them timely, before they eat away the shielding itself
