Yes possibly it started then did a current software level check and aborted itself.I didn't think
I didn't think 1940 was OTA? (according to other contributors unless future plans). Left mine at the dealers ready to pick up 5 hours later and so far so good.
Does anybody have software 1940 and still unable to become primary user issue? Mine just loads forever and nothing I can do to fix it?
Over the air this week so saved me an argument with the dealer.Under warranty. They’d likely charge a fortune after. You can download the update files from one of the sponsors on this forum though and do it yourself, but obviously the risk is on you if it gets bricked.
1)What improvements have you found compared to the 1940 which I also installed via USB? 2) how could we also obtain the update of other units such as the A5 unit?I will share with you the file I made from. Link for 1940 is HERE and link for 1969 is HERE. You do it at your own risk. download the file to disk, unpack it using winrar. format the pendrive to fat32 or exfat. Copy folders DATA and META for pendrive. Start the car. it's more safe than a battery. Insert the pendrive, press and hold the menu button (this on left corner with 3 lines or 4 dots) up to the service menu and press update. We're taking off down there. we wait about 15 minutes. If everything is OK, click resume and the system will restart. the manual is also available for download. Thanks for Jakub F. for file. File verified by 5 people on the Polish forum. Including me. I have update from 1896 to 1940 few months ago and now from 1940 to 1969. I don't know if you can update from older versions.

I updated 2 days ago and haven't driven since then. Winter surprised us and I didn't have to leave the house. other drivers, unfortunately, probably only via ODIS. I would also like to make a counter because I do not have view 2 from FR. I only have cupra.1)What improvements have you found compared to the 1940 which I also installed via USB? 2) how could we also obtain the update of other units such as the A5 unit?
I have update from 1940. Procedure is the same. I was testing now and one small ota came right away. the same as in 1940 with the main user. Nothig change for nowIt seems to me that the USB update procedure from 1940 to 1969 is identical to the previous procedure for updating from 1896 to 1940, correct? only in this case, can I directly upgrade to the 1969 since I already have the 1940?
I would like to update my A5 to get the new lane change function but I need the parameters
Yes. I also copied this file to a pendrive. I don't know what it's for but everything went fineonce I have extracted the rar via 7-zip (exactly as I did for the 1940 version), is it correct that I also find a "MQB37_SE_1969.00.ver" file together with the two "DATA" and "META" folders?
where could we find the files to be able to update the other units via ODIS, in particular the a5 unit?I updated 2 days ago and haven't driven since then.
