Breaking parts help

Hi guys new to forum casey here, can anyone help me please i need drivers side fog light grille, part number 1ML 853 666 someone bumped into front wing and bonnet headlight damage and bumper damage, the guy said he will pay for damage,managed to get set of lights and wing but i cannot find this grille anywhere, ive phoned breakers yard near me im in carmarthenshire and also asked friends but no joy can anyone help i know these cars are getting harder to get bits for any help is appreciated thanks

Hi yes tried T.P.S (trade parts specialist) in swansea , they told me they are no longer available they've stopped making parts in for these cars in march 2022 i think that was the date he said on phone, because because of age of the cars now , which is a nightmare in itself, because its hard now, only servicing parts only its a nightmare, thanks casey

talk to this guy https://www.seatcupra.net/forums/members/thai-wronghorse.103110/ he is the forum MK1 Specialist for parts, if not there are plenty of breakers on Facebook and Marketplace for parts.

Hi mate yes infact i managed to get it repaired on saturday, and i luckly found a fog light grille on facebook thanks

Yes mate, really love cupra r, I managed to get alot out myself in wing/bonnet in about day messing around, but hopefully one day there be someone/firm that make parts , like vw heritage or somthing similar

Hi all, someone kindly hit my car in the supermarket so I’m now also after a drivers side fog light grille. I’ve checked Facebook, eBay and Thai-Wronghorse but no luck. Local breakers don’t have any either. Does anyone have any other suggestions or maybe have one to sell? Thanks.
