I ordered a vz2 hybrid nov 2021. Been told unconfirmed build week 9 2023! I have got a leased 2019 cupra leon that was due to go back in april they i refuse to give back so they are letting me keep so far extended every 3months
Good luck! Let me know if you get a confirmed build date. I ordered the same spec car in July 21 and don't have a confirmed build week yet! Just ordered ETA stock day of May 2023!

I ordered my Cupra Leon 300 on January 2022 and I still waiting for it.... However, they told me that the car was successfully built and that the shipping date is 25/10! I am starting to get my hopes up again. Hopefully I'll have it by mid November.

We ordered a business lease V2 Hybrid in Sep 21. I called the lease company today for an update and we have been told that our estimated delivery date of the 28th of Feb 2023 has been removed, and that their Cupra supplier have advised them that they can no longer estimate any dates for our order. We don't know what to do as our original order was an amazing deal and everything else (Including the exact same car and trim) is much more expensive now.

Glad I didn't go for a hybrid as they seem to be the ones that are taking ages to turn up. I ordered my Leon 300 just a month before you, yet I have had mine 6 months now.

Ordered my VZ2 hybrid in September 21, ETA March 23 but lease company said this is a huge estimate.
Very Similar to you. VZ2 Hybrid order from July 21 through a lease company and 'estimated' delivery date is March 2023!

Have colleagues who ordered Jan 22 and have same "estimated" arrival date. Not sure I'll ever see it....

Fingers crossed for you. Good luck.

Mine apparently now has a build date of week 2, 2023! So, I'll see if that happens. Mine's a VZ2 hybrid with a sunroof as well.

After owning a vz2 cupra hybrid since november 2021 it come within 3 month now it's so scarce in the.uk. When it come out I seen 3 in early 2022 and now I see nothing but formentors. Not sure if its the chip industry or if is still shifting the parts but i feel nothing but a lone wolf here in the north east of england. Hope you guys get the cars you have ordered and i still love the car.

I live in off street parking and used to take to my local podpoint 7kw charger less than half a mile away at 15p pkh now it's gone up to 65p pkh giving you an rough idea used to cost £1.45 to charge battery to 30 mile now its 65p pkh that is £7.45 . So I decided to get an extension lead 25 mm arctic hooked up to top window draped 10 foot in air over the path and onto tree the up to car over the council grass it's around 26 metres also needed to order a specialist socket for the granny lead to my ip66 rated as these plugs are really thick any that need the link please let me know

My dealer called and they call the order process "Frozen" as when an order has been accepted by the factory. He needed me to confirm a factory change to get a Week 4 23' build date. Essentially I'd have to pay €1,400 more for the car to get it built with 2 extra parts(can't be built without them because they've ran out of apparently non electric seats and rear view cameras). I reminded him of the €2,000 Seat/Cupra contribution and said if you still commit to that then I will take it. I need to check about the electric seats with him because as far as I'm concerned that would be leather because they are a €1,013 option and the Top View camera is €520 to not far off €1,400. I mean, who orders electric cloth seats?

Anyway, black eHybrid Formentor V1.5 (why 1.5?) because in Ireland we only have a V(and it's not even called V, just Formentor and VZ) not a 1 or 2 so my order is more or less in between both of them, if you're in the UK reading this. I've added an alarm, XL safety and driving pack, electric boot, 19" alloys and apparently maybe electric seats and a top view camera.

Ordered I think in June, maybe built in January, maybe delivered in March.
@Baron; That’s an interesting situation you’ve been placed in. I’ve no experience of buying a brand new Cupra or Seat, but my experience with VW is that historically, if there are any changes (upgrades) to spec, then customers with existing orders waiting for their cars to be built just get the benefit of those changes when their car is built without being asked to pay extra.

I wonder whether Cupra/ Seat would reduce the price of a customer’s car if they reduced the spec of a customer’s car? Will all those owners whose cars were delivered without an engine cover get a refund if the cover is never supplied? I very much doubt it 🤔.

Edit; it’d be worth checking the small print in the T&C’s on your original order form to see whether there’s an item covering manufacturer-initiated changes in vehicle spec and whether it gives Cupra the right to make an adjustment to the contractually agreed price you signed up to.

Just a little update, had the VZ1 since the 9th sept and covered 2000 miles. No problems so far and loving the experience. Two small niggles: wing mirror de-mister is useless, just doesn’t seem to work very fast, the other is the lane assist which is More dangerous than a safety aid. Apart from these couple of issues it’s been a joy to drive and the cabin is such a nice place to be.
