Help sunroof rattles

Hi all,

i have seat leon Cupra 2019

in the past few month i have a lot of sunroof rattles when he in close position, when i lift him up 95% of the noises despaired

some one can please help me i don't know what to do

If it’s a 2019 car, is it still under warranty in your country? In the UK its 3 years. It does, unfortunately, seem to be a common problem with the pan roof.

yes its under warranty but the Deller doesn't know what to do with this.

Is a seat if you cure one rattle another will appear, or thats what i have found with mine lol

Sadly this is true.

However sunroof rattled can usually be solved easily (providing nothing has come loose) with either Silicone spray or Gummifledge lubricant around the rubber seal, both inner and outer and the back seal where it sits when closed.

Sadly once you start this it’s a constant battle to maintain and will need re doing every few weeks.

There is a special lubricant called Krytox that is designed specially for this job, it’s expensive but lasts much much longer

Hi guys, this is an update to a previous post... I own a 2019 Leon FR Sport 190 DSG Estate with that stupid panaromic sunroof! The Glass seems to rattle all over, sounds like small stones chipping against glass. - Once glass roof is put on tilt, the noise goes! Been to dealer twice now...
