BREAKING leon cupra r track car

So the engine has let go on the car. Not investigated it yet.

After 2 years building the car and using it on track this car and the bits I have bought have made a great car.

Unfortunately there is a crank rattle on the bottom end.

I think at this point I am going to sell all the bits off the car and move onto another project.

There's lots of really great parts on this car, gauging the interest for the bits now, would rather sell as is but its worth more in parts.

Direzzas 225 40 18 brand new
Uniroyals 225 45 17 brand new
Grey Rotas 18"
Silver Rotas 17"
Corbeau pro series Seats
6 spd Gearbox with quaife
2 sets of Carbotech pads
Brand New rear calipers
Freshly served with New seals and nipples, Brembo front calipers
Kws club sport coil overs
Rolling Shell
Miltek full 3" stainless system turbo back
Abs delete, custom braided brake lines with tilton in car bias valve
Mocal Oil cooler, sandwich plate and lines
Inter cooler
Direnza alloy Radiator bramd new
Engine - rattly crank but the engine itself would be saveable
Carbon fibre bonnet and bootlid from x sport, brand new and un fitted

Beautiful car! Shame you have to break it but I know with modified cars you never get your money back keeping them whole.

How much for the 225/40r18 direzzas? They literally never been used? How old are they?

It does feel a massive shame, but its also an opportunity to get into something else....staying german don't panic but not vag

Don't spose you could do us a selection of cosmetic bits could you? Things like window switches, ash tray, window cable assembly for passenger side front including window holding brackets (cables have snapped and one bracket missing) possibly other bits

If nizza agrees and if people.want bits I am hopefully going up to him 2nd week Sept so I can bring bits back down south to north londonish area for collection if that helps any one at all.

Don’t think there’s much of what you’re looking for on this car. Better off trying breakers on fb.
This is stripped as far as he can strip. Even brackets that held stuff on has gone.

That sucks mate, nice car. What front calipers do you have on this? Knackered a nipple on the off side brembo on my nephews cupra r, looking for a solution (repair nipple failed too). Im still unsure what other calipers will bolt striaght on, with / without carrier change. Im sure he'd go for more stopping power as hes in the last stage of creating his track monster too! Cheers
