I don't often try launch control but thought I'd check how quick it is today. First try was 4.04s on my normal map 6 but then remembered George from Burger Tuning saying it is not happy with too much boost past 5.5-6k when using LC so then I cut boost quite a bit up top on my JB4 map 6, still a decent run for my winter wheels setup. :)

0-100 km/h 3.92s (0-60 mph 3.7s).

My new rain/light sensor arrived from Germany so used my furlough time to swap out the humidity sensor in my facelift FR, I now have auto lights and wipers after a bit of coding with OBDeleven. Fantastic help from the thread on here so thanks to all who have posted in it.

A very easy mod for lots of extra features, especially coming home/leaving home lights, which for a car of this spec I would have thought would be standard!

Was that easy enough to do? Do you have the part numbers you used for the sensor and the different light switch please?

Yes very simple to do, only involves swapping out the sensor and switch and then the adaptions on OBDeleven but easy enough.

The guide I used is here: https://forums.seatcupra.net/index.php?threads/rain-light-sensor-coding-mk3-fr.421370/page-2

Part number for sensor (same as one from a Golf, plenty on eBay): 5Q0955547B

Part number for headlight switch (Mine was from an Ibiza but exactly the same and again there’s a few on eBay, Seat ones will match with the red LEDs, a VW one will have white LEDs): 5G0941431AF

Hope this helps, hardest part was removing the rear view mirror that took a stronger pull than I thought!

Was the rear strut brace difficult to fit? 6 or 8 holes? Do you feel any difference in spirited driving? I am ordering a front strut brace and thinking of this also. Plus I am pulling the trigger on buying an s3 front aluminum subframe.

Can i ask you which front brace you are ordering? It's something i've also thought about adding.

It’s 6 holes, 2 on top either side and 1 at the bottom.

It wasn’t difficult to fit, it’s just patience. The hardest part was cutting the plastic trim to fit around the brace. I’ll order new trims to fit later on and use my current ones as a template.

I’d have the s3 subframe on mine if it worked with the RacingLine engine mount :(

I thought it was only the carpet that needed cutting. But taking a closer look to your photo its obvious that you have to cut the plastic too. Can you post a photo from inside of the car with seats down to see the drilled holes and trimmed plastic? Do you have any feedback regarding feel or not just yet due to lockdown?

Why doesn't the racingline one doesn't fit with the s3 subframe?

I bought an s3 subframe with sway bar just right now for 140€ including shipping.

The RacingLine dogbone mount states it’s not suitable for use for aluminium subframes - I’m assuming because of how harsh it is?

I’ve not managed to test the car properly yet - been on a short drive and car feels a bit tighter round bends at speed. Nothing else to report just yet.

I took these photos during the install, not sure if it helps:

Proper annoyed with myself today. Had a puncture and have a fire stone tire adding which will be an odd one out.

Completely forgotten I was thinking of getting some eagle f1s or ps4s. What would you do now. Got one brand new tire and was guna get them all changed to a decent brand. Ahhhhh!!! Wish I knew and could have had at least one done of the set and the rest done with the same brand eventually.

fire stones f580s worth a full set to match and last a while or should I wait a few months and get a full set or bar one of eagle f1s?
