My current car will be due to go back end of Feb.Any idea if I can avoid doing a service on it before I send it back. Strictly speaking service is due end of this month? Anyone else have the same issue with returning a car but service due soon?
You are lucky as there are some cracking roads up in Scotland and some of them have very little traffic. Down my way the only time I really get to put my foot down is when I accelerate up a slip road! Getting this car has also made me realise how many roads that used to be 60mph are now 50 or 40mph, very frustrating. That's a good point and i've literally just done this. Went up a junction from where I live and took the car down some windy A roads for some fun, and it was definitely fun.
I don't think I've owned a car before that I've driven just for the sake of driving.
£22950 for my Lux. Forces cars changed supplier since @Kirky got his, also i think there was a slight price increase between MY19 and MY20Yep. I paid that for my Lux back in March. Paid it outright so that was the OTR price. The standard was just under £21k at the time.
Most who bought outright got it from motorsource. They seemed to do the best deals. @Betts-4 paid just £21k for their Lux! And I thought I'd got a bargain.
when did they update you, I have heard nothing since I orderedYup got an email from them saying they expect my car in Feb although I told them when I ordered it I don't want it until March.

Mine has took less than 2 monthsif you have ordered a Cupra recently then be prepared for a long wait! I ordered back in the second week of September. I have had 2 confirmed build weeks come and go and I am now in the black hole that is the ‘backlog’. LO and the dealer have both indicated end of Feb for delivery. So if u have just or are just about to order, then be fully prepared for April at least
How long past your contract did you keep the old vehicle? I assumed they would just charge you another monthly payment if you needed it for an extra month?Hi mate. I have just arranged my current lease car to go back next Friday when my Cupra arrives. I had 2 options. Option 1 was pay the difference between the car value and what the lease company can get for the car (Not sure how this works to be honest), in my case £500. This is subject to change on the collection day. You do not pay for wear and tear with this option. Option 2 was pay 50% of the remaining monthly payments and pay for any wear and tear. In my case I chose option 2 as it is only £140 to pay and I am confident I won't have any wear and tear to pay.
Option 2 also made sense as the service and MOT are due which I don't have to pay now
This is with Arval for reference.

Ok so opposite problem to me. I need to extend but wondering if anyone knows how long I can put off a service as I don't want to service it and return in 3 weeks time. Was wondering if anyone else had a similar issue due to the delay on getting a new CupraCurrent lease isnt up till march mate its going back 2 months early.. My Leon gets delivered next Friday...
It doesn't according to the latest December brochure/price list or any brochure/price list since MY20 launched. All the MY20 Lux's I've seen on here don't have them as they are pretty obvious from the frontal photos. Think the dealer has messed up.Just saw this on letchworth Seat
CUPRA Lux model also includes
- Keyless Entry with Wireless Phone Charging
- Bucket Seats in Microsuede
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Winter Pack - heated front seats, headlight washers, heated washer nozzles and heated washer water
I thought the winter pack no longer included heated washer, headlight and nozzles ?
I'm leaving it for a week going to ring next monday see what they saySo whose calling for no update today
Yeah, Amy has been pretty good at keeping me updated too. I have a registered "customer concern" so Seat UK have been updating me most weeks as well. Car is supposed to be built next week but I've asked for delivery in March now so unless I don't hear anything till early feb, I'm not that bothered.Assuming your car actually gets built as scheduled do Seat let the dealer know when it's on a boat (and which one....) and heading to the UK?
FCD have let me have the latest info from dealer.... i.e. scheduled build week so will wait for further details. They seem to be quite good at keeping me informed!
