As you may be aware I have already bought a polished Coilpack cover and inlet manifold cover. So these should all fit in nicely.

I have already got a oversized 3" TIP (once again been on car at least 10 years but I always wanted a red one. So I looked at Badger5 one with billet end. You already know what it looks like but I'm unsure why really I'm buying a brand new TIP literally for the billet and cos it's red...anyway. So bought a joiner with it also.

I have a Jabba heat shield that hasn't really let me down but it's showing its age now. It's not as chrome as it was. Also I already had a BMC TwinCone on car (and to be fair) looks quite clean though but I thought I may as well go full steam. So I bought (to be fair) an uglier heat shield and new open cone all from Badger5.

Be good to see this all done and at some meets we always get plenty of photos.

Do you have 30 magpies around your house/car daily because of all that polished metal haha

So obviously soon I'm going to be having a few things up for sale. All work perfectly well, but I just need to have something newer. So up for sale will be:

• SFS Oversize 3" TIP black.
• Jabba heat shield.
• BMC TwinCone in red.
• Polished Inlet manifold (could be better).
• Throttle Body painted Matt black.
• Carbon Fibre inlet manifold cover.
• Debaffled charge pipe.
• OEM fuel rail.

So to exterior:

I have been looking at the Maxton Design front splitter and rear lip spoiler. I'm thinking I may get rear lip spoiler in same colour as my car. (that is I will get it wrapped).

Literally no pics yet as it hasn't arrived but they'll be gloss black anyway. And these two designs. I will lost website pics but you know them already.

Lastly I have to put my alloys back into be refurbed (they are less than 2 months old) as when I got new tyres the old ones were on so tight they have to leverage them off causing chips to wheels. To say I was fooking fuming is an understatement.

Also managed to refurb seatbelt clasps with my C4 Gtechniq oil and the pics are t great but they're an improvement that's fine sure.

So the polished inlet manifold I showed you above I've decided to not fit this one as (although) the polished is ok it's not immaculate and neither is the paint. So I'm getting someone else to do another one for me. As well as throttle body and rocker cover. He even threw in a stainless Coilpack and inlet cover for free too.

Guys need to check him out if you haven't already a lot of people trust him with his work ethic and workmanship.

So I also decide to upgrade the injector cups to billet aluminium also.

Liking the inlet but I know I'm too lazy to keep it looking that clean What have you decided on the maxton kit, I thought everyone had given up on exterior stuff for the mk1 leon so nice to see a company still looking after them with something that compliments the existing kit

Price on the black oversized tip?

Thanks buddy. Yeh I have had a few over the years. Had a chromed one then that got pitted so sold it. Then a polished one and even though I looked after it still managed to go all cloudy. It's mega high maintenance but it makes engine look nice when clean.

I've never been one to concentrate on the exterior as honestly there's nothing I would change. I see the Maxton splitter and liked it until I saw the price, but it looks aggressive so I got it. Also seeing the rear lip it looked really modern (mind of like what the M Performance pack on a BMW 3 series ISH looks like). I've opted out of the Maxton rear diffuser as it's far too OTT. There is a company that just makes the fins and I like the look a lot. Very subtle so doesn't make the Leon look ugly. They're £55 so may purchase those.

So as I have been posting recently I got a few shiny gubbins for the engine bay. Must be mad as I'm super busy to even clean the car let alone clean the engine bay. Back in the day I would be spending hours cleaning the bay up lol.

So firstly new gloss rocker cover, Inlet manifold Polished/gloss black and throttle body gloss black and new bolts.

Then upgraded the injector cups to billet aluminium whilst it was getting done.

Then after browsing on eBay (dangerous), I see a couple of things that could do with changing. That is the charge pipe and fuel rail. My previous charge pipe was polished and debaffled and was close to 10 years old yet still I'm great condition, but this one was recently polished.

Whilst buying that I bought a polished fuel rail also.

Then to top it all off I bought something (see previous post a few pages back) that I feel I probably didn't need but as I was changing everything else this was logical. The SFS oversized TIP has been a great tip. I bought it back when SFS first released it. As it was new they didn't have a red one so as a second best I bought the black one, seeing as the bay was black and red it wouldn't be a problem...

Well the red Badger 5 V2.2 was nagging at me for years and I probably will not see any difference with this tip to the old one but I will try anyway. I also got a new BMC TwinCone filter (old one still fine but I like new things) and lastly the Badger 5 heatshield.

First impressions the heatshield doesn't look as chintzy as the Jabba one but I got it anyway. Tip looks a well built item so these will be fitted very soon.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to people that may want any bits and bobs that I'm replacing, so if you're still interested in anything then make me an offer.

So I have been purchasing a few more bits and bobs today. Don't know what it is that's wrong with me, as soon as I buy something i then think 'well I may as well change this or upgrade this too'.

So it's fair to say this car has now become a rebuild. It's not something I'm just doing up for the sakes of it. I have so much stuff in my house that needs fitting but I will get it all done in one go as I don't like keeping going back etc.

I will have heaps of stuff up for sale in the new year as (above) I'm replacing everything literally because I want everything brand spanking new. Everything that will be for sale will be in full excellent working order.

Sorry to the guys that want a few things already and I haven't got back to you, I have been busy at work henceforth why everything will be getting stripped and fitted in new year.

So I'm going to get my garage Unit18 in Milton Keynes to do everything as I trust them.

First things firstas I have a new polished fuel rail and charge pipe, when these are out I will be fitting a new braided fuel line with billet seperators in red. Unfortunately they don't supply the finishers in red so it'll be all black. Stealthy I like it.
