Had a bad day at Cadwell (only because my EPC Light came on and need to sort out what's wrong).
However had a good day whilst waiting for the tow to take me back to the garage, i also learnt some new stuff.
1)RAC and AA wont retrieve from track (which I knew) but they do a courtesy visit to see if its a simple fix they can help with.
2) My car is low and they wont tow me home as the tow gear don't fit under low sprung cars with big front spoilers. Was not a problem as the RAC Man got me a great deal from another company so was happy.
The good news was the guys in the pit lane very kindly came over and offered to take me out in there cars (which I accepted) and it was great to go out in different cars with different drivers. Guy in a very nice jap car took me round the track the car was setup great and it was very exciting, he then went out with the instructor and was told him not to drive it as the wheel bearings were in a bad way and it was dangerous to drive on the track (but i had been in it at speed
)
There were a lot of red flags due to mechanical problems / spillages and one nasty crash, driver was ok, passenger was shook up.
Also saw a novel way to cool down a hot engine
The had a genny running the big fan.
Best non modified car there was a very cool looking Aston
And this great motor turned up (I think for the evening session)

Yes mate, garage have confirmed it was injectors failing just dumping fuel, just waiting to see if they can fix it this week or next.

Yup fingers xed. I've got mine in the garage the day before looking at an oil leak. So long as they don't make it worse I'm good. LOL.

Question for you all, Do people change engine oil each time they go out on the track or just change at low regular intervals.
