Legojon , I’ve just read your post , what happened to your gearbox ? Did it just give up. How much did you end up spending on the lsd ? Wish I put one in when I had my clutch fitted ..

And yes it is Chris , what a small world we live in
Thought so. I lived in shields for 7 years. Went to the Marine College. Plenty of time spent in the county and the westoe at lunch times lol

Yeah I started in 2010 so probably there at the same time. Was back for 6 weeks last year doing my 2nd Engineers course. Got 22 weeks sometime in the near future for Chief Engineers (sigh). What was his name ?

His name was Andrew Twigg

Another update I have taken the wrap off of my car and it has destroyed most the paint work , and to get it back to perfect condition is £800 and he said he would spray it all different colour for 900£ just not inside the engine or door sills so I think I am going for that. 2 colours either baby blue or focus rs lime green.

I think I like the green more

You're not having much luck are you...

Green cars always seem to get alot of good comments when we get the Green FR's at the meets... Also goes well with your original colour under the bonnet...

So that's £900 for the paint and how much for the map and clutch? This is an expensive month! You best make it to the meet haha

Nah I’m not I got abit money back dates from work and it’s basically all gone Lol

Map and walnut blasting and rs3 injectors fitting about 1000£, rs 3 injects , oil + filter , fuel filter , rs 4 return valve about 1100£ and hopefully the clutch will sort itself out after being bled, if not probably £650 ...

900£ for the spray without door sills or engine bay which I think it a great price . Been using him for 7/8 years his work is fantastic .

And the car is going into the garage tomorrow to get the brake fluid flushed and changed to motul rbf600, hopefully that will stop it , if not I have to get a clutch specialist about putting new clutch plate on and re skimming the flywheel and pressure plate :banghead:

Thanks jon, and no it’s not haha. He just has a small unit , he completely sanded car get rid off so imperfections , then sprayed and then a clear coat on top. Don’t know why I paid 1500 for vinyl wrap in the first place, absolutely terrible , never again!

Yeah, considering a single stage correction + ceramic coat leaves little change from £400. I might as well just get the car resprayed every other year.
