I’ll be bringing mine to the next meet so we can all geek out at paint depth.

Why don't we just organize a Detailing meet.

Each member brings along a different item/items (that non of the rest of you have or have used) and you can all try it out on your car.

Then with the stuff you like you can go buy it rather than getting a garage full of stuff.

It’s good idea... but we’ll probably just end up liking it all! You know what we’re like!

Yeah I'd probably end up buy it all... And we would have no paint left from the constant polishing haha

If you put enough stuff on my car then it will be ok for me to put my laptop on the roof.

Haha love it! you can only blame yourself!

I use Autobrite Wax off... Top stuff although this is the only one i've used...

I assume you foam, wash then use the wax off? Also... do you dilute it? It's in my basket right now damn you!!

If you can get the wax coat to 1" thick  otherwise .

You’ve got me thinking @Legojon. Maybe the reason you get 180 miles or so from your tank between refills is because it’s carrying around all the extra weight of the 1” or so Wax that you’ve put on it.

Along with the polish your car is approx 2” higher, longer and wider

do you think if you added the price of all the waxes and cleaning products youve bought you could have brought the parts to lower the car? probably not that cheap lol

As @LouG said the other day

"I've never made money on a modded car or bike. Usually I get hit for depreciation as per normal and lose the cost of bits.
But if you look at it as a hobby, then that's fine. Hobbies are pits you throw money into."

I could have bought the front lowering springs for the price of that tub of wax!
