Still not got my order yet from 2017.
Slowly making progress though.
Had to hand back the 280 today after 3 years (sad times)

The dealership have kindly put me in a 18 plate xcellence for the next week. So already benefiting from the DC.

Also got a first look at the 290 in the day time (pre PDI and side skirts)

Newcomer here.

Had a late order in for an ST 300 4drive dsg on a decent deal through work; been told it's arrived of late - just waiting on final action on my part. With plenty of work on and a new arrival to the family, the detail on the torque change from 380 to 400 at the cost of about 0.3 secs 0-60 has passed by until I've read this forum. I wanted winter pack above anything else, with ACC a nice to have standalone secondary, but was told on order these weren't an option (the latter had to be lux) - now apparently they're back on to my frustration.

Giving serious thought to cancelling the order for the absolute nightmare that is coming ever more clear in SEAT production and mis-selling. What would seal it is feedback the later models are something of a comparative damp squib. Has anyone got comparative experience of driving pre-copra/frankenseat dsg 300 to the recent models? (I know 0-60 isn't everything, if that power is still delivered elsewhere rather than throttled I might not quite think the whole thing a lost cause).

It's been a disheartening experience just lately, as I was really looking forward to this car.

Welcome to SCN

Where have you seen the heated seats as an option on the 290? I have downloaded the latest brochure and price list and can't see anything there? Thanks

Interesting as I’ve been told heated seats are standard equipment in my non lux, I ordered it in October. They were showing as standard shortly before I ordered then disappeared, queried this with dealer & was told it will have heated seats after all. Emissions were also wrong as it was showing 152 co2 when correct figure was actually 149 co2. I’ve ordered brand new cars now for over 20 years and this has to be the most confusing/incorrect vehicle information I’ve ever come across.

Heated seats only come on the winter pack which is standard on the lux model.

There was a spell in the summer when a group of us were being told we would have the winter pack as standard and then they back tracked before production started. It only comes on lux as part of the winter pack.

This is why I queried it with the dealer! Literally was on the previous month price/spec list. Only way to find out now for sure is when I take delivery:) By the sounds of it you’ve answered the question for me before then.

I'm sure it's standard in some of the other markers like Germany and Spain, for whatever reason not here where you'd most expect it...

It's not SEAT as a brand, it's SEAT UK as an importer that's responsible for this. Here in The Netherlands it was, and still is, an option.

Hi Everyone! My first post here.

I put in an order last week for a Leon Copra Lux DSG with sunroof on a 3 year lease.

I've ordered it in Mystery Blue but thinking of changing it to Desire Red, I'm coming from an Audi in Misano Red and I'm thinking the blue may be too dark for me, what do you guys think?

Thanks.

Welcome and congrats with your order!

I think mystery blue is lovely, but the black CUPRA lettering on the back is nearly invisible.

You should be able find photos for both colors somewhere in this thread, they should help you make up your mind.

Welcome aboard. If I was granted with the gift of choice, I’d have gone for the red. My username explains why :)

Hi, If you’re on Twitter lookup @SeatBlogIL it has loads of new 2019 spec Cupra models in many colours. Blue is really nice.

Desire Red, albeit not a Copper Badged one but imo the colour is super nice
The colour looks awesome in that pic, I’m waiting to hear back from the dealer with confirmation that the colour has been changed, they said it could go into production very soon, so fingers crossed!!!

You won’t be disappointed. My car has the Leather heated seats like the Lux and they are great on these cold mornings.

Heard back from the dealers today and the ST is still confirmed for build next week. Only took them a year :roflmao:
My ST 4 drive took 10 months from order...well worth the wait! Just completed my first long ish drive today from Staffordshire to North Wales...awesome car you will love it. My only criticisn is the exhaust note is v quiet. Will consider the resonator delete option. Anyone 2019 MY ST owners done that mod yet on here?
