My girlfriend drove my car away last night as she's coming to my work around midday so we can drive down from Manchester to Oxford for the Xmas party.

It's the first time I've heard it drive away, it was in comfort and it just burbles and rumbles down the road with a few cute little pops as it goes, it's a lovely deep sound.

Nice! Any chance you can get her to do that again while you're recording?

Mine will be registered on the 11th, so I think I'm looking at a lovely Christmas present by the time it'll be delivered. Can't wait!

Car arrived this morning 9am, shame about the weather, car's very dirty..lol
delivered to my work, so i've got to sit and stare at it all day before i can have a play.....
Thanks to everybody on this forum for keeping me sane, the 7 months wait and the lack of info from Seat CS was impossible at times
even last week i was told my car had the 6sp DSG and guess what? we all already know it's a 7sp DSG..

Just got of the phone to my dealer he just said it’s left for it’s journey to the uk it’s a bw48 looking at picking it up mid jan he still couldn’t tell me if it got beats audio on the 5door lux I’ve ordered

It won't have beats audio. No premium sound system is currently fitted to Leon's. The only people with beats are people who ordered and paid for seat sound before they changed the specs.

Got a call from my dealer today that my Midnicht Black ST 300 4Drive is due to arrive on Tuesday. It'll get a fuel operated engine and inroom warmer fitted and probably I'll get a Ceramic coating on it also. Maybe I'll get my hands on it on January 2nd.. It has the digital cockpit, Beats audio, the cup seats and parking sensors front and back. Can't wait.

I ask for specs of my dealer and all he could say when I was ordering is the lux is better than a standard ha think he’s covering his arse with letting me know what spec I got because everything is changing all the time

The spec is fixed now and has been since the Lux was available to order:

-Wireless chargepad
-KESSY
-Winter pack
-Front seats in leather
-Electronic Drivers Seat
-Adaptive Cruise Control

Nope not available to anyone I'm afraid.

I sent an email to Seat Customer Service saying how bad of a decision it was not to fit a premium sound system as standard if it is not available as an option. I pointed out amongst other makes I considered VW, Audi, BMW all offer this as an option or is standard equipment as with BMW 1 series Shadow Edition fitted with Harmon Kardon standard. Reply from Seat was they have now raised this at head office, forwarded my comments to the factory for consideration as they have no input into design as it is all done from parent company Seat S.A. He did say that unless people tell them they will never know. I didn’t go for LUX pack as I’m not keen on full leather.

Just a, probably obvious, note to anyone receiving their cars.. check the tyre pressure when you get it!! I've been driving around like a numpty for 1200 miles thinking it was harsh and bumpy because sports car but checking yesterday revealed all four corners were sat at 45psi..

At the correct pressure this car is insanely comfortable and the road noise is minimal.. feel like an idiot but happy now.

I’ll go and check mine now as the road noise is quite loud.

Mine had 42 psi!! Just dropped to 32psi in the front and 29 in the rear.
