Fair point!! I spoke to Russell @ jct600 the other day “he said they don’t normally allow customer collection” They can deliver mine to the nearest McDonald’s then I’ll be sat there waiting haha

I’ll email Alison the manger at gateway tell them I’ll collect so I can screw it home!

I told them about my points 1,2 and 3 when I ordered the car in Jan, it's BS your not allowed to collect it tbh, I'm not having ANYBODY drive my car but me when it comes to new car time :drunk:

If it does come with only the flag on the front, I’ll be straight on eBay looking for a flag for the rear.. and the steering wheel..

Don’t bother looking on eBay... just use the registration details from a pre-BW42 300 Cupra on Autotrader/Dealer website and order the parts from TPS - OEM, generally available next day delivery, and likely to be cheaper!

I agree, I know Damo says different but I expect the silver edging around the media/vents area and gearstick area to be copper. If its not and they have just made the seat badge on the steering wheel copper it will look a bit daft.

The vents may well be copper as my info they weren’t mentioned and neither was stitching but the gear area will be flagless & black

Looks like it's going to be staying at sea for a bit

The copper inside will be ok.. IF... they do all the stitching, by which I mean the steering wheel, gear stick AND seats.. plus they need either black or copper inlays on the media console, air vents etc.. if they put silver, I not think it’ll go..
If it is believed to be like the Ateca

Either pic1 or pic2

The Ateca has the choice of chrome or glossy black. Both with copper stitching.

You've already seen the CUPRA R's interior - all plausible at this stage.

I think it'll be exactly the same as the cupra r interior.

That's what I originally thought after reading the bulletin until Damo7 set me straight

Out of the 3 this is the one I'm hoping it isn't.

I'm the opposite I think if its going to have a copper badge on the steering wheel it will look daft if that's it. If it has the badge and other subtle bits of trim then it'll blend and not stand out so much. Of course it's a shame there is any copper at all haha.

If they're going to throw in an alcantara steering wheel, change the exterior colour to grey, give me back the 10bhp, retain a decent exhaust note and add a bodykit.....I'll gladly accept all that extra copper in the interior
