So, an update on my cupra!....
It is in the country and in transit to the dealership! Anyone know where I can track it? It arrived at the port of sheerness on the 11th Nov and takes 5-7 days to get to dealership apparently. I'm getting impatient now cuz I'm picking it up direct from the dealership! How long would it be at the dealership before its ready?

Hi Ian, no tracking available i'm afraid. Mine took 6 Days from Sheerness to Hull and my the dealer had the car turned around and ready for me to collect within 4 hours
Guess the maps will need compared when someone gets their hands on one. I'm sure the advertised torque has increased too.
6 working days? Fingers crossed that it lands at the dealers before the end of the week then. 4 hours - that's a dream, I'm hoping I can collect by Friday in time for the weekend
Sorry was 9 days total, instructed to collect late on Monday and i received it the following thursday afternoon. It is worth the wait
When I was last told (twice) that my car was awaiting being loaded on a ship in Emden, Germany they kinda got it slightly wrong as the latest update is that it's still not on a ship - but a further 1100 miles away at Martorell, Spain!
I suppose it's an easy mistake to make?

They all get loaded in Barcelona, emden is where VW's come from, Seat told me mine was in Barcelona, an hour later dealer said you cars in the U.K. do you want it this afternoon, the tracking system isn't the best

I think the information is there if the dealers look for it.
Few days after mine was built my dealer knew what ship it was on, where and when it was scheduled to dock, when they were expecting delivery of the car themselves and gave me a date for collection. And it all ran to that schedule.

Just a update as I saw this on pistonheads and we seeing so many cancelled orders on here I'm sure it may appeal to some one
I think i'm slowly coming to the realisation that I don't really need this car.
I've been thinking about it a lot over the last week and can't make my mind up on whether to just cancel the order. I don't rely on a car as daily transport and it just feels like a bit of an indulgence.
To my knowledge the car is already built and being held at a dealers so not sure what the situation will be if i do cancel. If anyone wants it, it may be easier for me to make a decision. It's a 5dr DSG BE in dynamic grey. No deposit, 24 x £269 5k per year.
