Hello to all......deffo time for a new clutch in my Stage 1 AUQ engined Tolly 20vt,which i am assuming has the same setup as the Leon Cupra.
The cheapest quotes ive had are around the £750 mark for the standard fit unit, supplied and fitted, which includes the dual mass flywheel. I just wanted to know if i have any other options for around this price for a setup that could take Stage 2 power if required,or indeed,if this is a good price in the first place.....cheers.

Buy your own clutch & flywheel, (about £250-£300) then get it fitted mate. Save yourself some pennies. Garages will buy a standard one and charge a fee on top of that, and then labour costs. But a standard clutch is fine for stage 1 and 2, stage 3 and race tuning is where you'd benefit from a improved clutch setup

Ditch the dual mass , I've put a LUK solid flywheel in mine comes as a kit from euros and holds stage two power fine , has done for over a year now and several hard launches ,
Doesn't rattle or cause any problems like on a diesel

I've had a discussion this morning with my regular mechanic whom I trust wholeheartedly. He WONT fit a single flywheel kit as he said they CAN not WILL cause more problems than they are worth.....hmmm
