I ordered on the 13th July and I ended up with week 42, poor going really! 18months waiting for a car is crazy, but suppose it depends on what kinda deal ya got.

It's a Porsche so no deals... list price or leave it. The Newcastle dealer was only allocated 5 petrol Macan's a year!

so annoyed, my car has been ready since last week, but my lease company has only let me know today that VW refused the paperwork and sent it back because my lease company faffed up the quote they gave me and Seat won't let me collect the car until the quote has been regarded by the brokers and the dealer. unnecessary delay, and it's not even my fault! IDIOTS.

This happened with mine too and that was with a Seat dealer, they had to re do all the finance and get me to re sign, something to do with VWFS quoting system, luckily mine was done in the day.

Collected the 290 today. Looking fine in alor blue. Loving it so far but the clutch delay valve has to go. Very indistinct clutch action.

Anybody know if this is something that a vdub specialist would have experience of doing? I know it is not a difficult job but no way I am fiddling myself and don't want to trust the new cupra with my local down the road that usually look after my 10 plus year old cars.

Annoying isn't it, my A5 has it, drives me wild on a daily basis haha

Finally got my cheque of him today, I've spent too much time there this week

manual, stops you releasing the clutch too fast, as this could damage transmission, but in reality, it's just ****, wasted money they could of invested elsewhere.

Just to annoy all of you waiting for the car - absolutely loving it. Buckets are really good. Great mix of comfort and support. Bolsters won't last long though unless I can figure out how to hover in and out of the car.

Haven't had chance to test it in real anger yet - still to fully bed brakes and tyres, but at 6/10ths it is all you'd need on the road.

Only slight annoyances are the clutch delay valve and the piped sound in cupra mode. Am I right that the latter needs VCDS to switch off?

Will try to supply a couple of pics at the weekend.
