Is this about right

You mean you read 24 PSI when connecting the Torgue OBD2 via bluetooth to your phone and you see 24PSI when boosting ?
If that's the case then i should inform you that the Torgue app propably reads about 14,7 PSI higher that your boost gauge. This is because of the ambient pressure at the sea level (14,7 PSI).
Is your boost gauge mechanical or electronic ?
Your torgue app gets it's information from the OBDII port which comes from the computer of the car.
This is showing you the requested boost pressure and your boost gauge is showing you the actual boost pressure.
You have to adjust the Torgue app.
So if your car is not mapped as you informed then you should read 24 - 14.7 = 9 PSI of boost normal for your car.

This is a diesel mate, youre referring to petrol boost levels. Standard PD150 boosts at around 1.4-5 bar.... a little more as a temporary spike is normal. Should not be seeing close to 2 bar though

I feel a little embarrassed.
In my mind i had a petrol engine when explaining that and apparently i was happy with that and remained with that scenario.

Sry Abbz86 and thanx Dan FR for reminding me that. Still 2 Bar of boost is a lot.

25 psi mentioned which is about right, should drop a few psi after the initial spike. As long as the spike doesnt near 30psi then youre ok

They're not mapped to have a spike, it happens due to slow responding VNT. Now that i have my laptop on i can look at a standard map:

Standard map requests 1.4 bar at 2000 rpm, rising to 1.5 bar at 2500 rpm, holding that request until 3750rpm where it will start to tail off to 1.1 bar by 4700rpm. So anything more than 22psi is a spike/overboost
