Hi all.

I noticed this afternoon my rear number plate light was hanging down. When I took a look and tried to fix it, I noticed that a little bit must have broken off meaning it won't stay in place.

I was wondering where I can buy a replacement housing for the bulb, or would I be better off getting LEDS (if so any recommendations)

Many thanks,
Ps I got a 61 reg leon fr.

If you mean number 15 in the diagram below then the part number is 3D0943021A and it is currently listed as ~£8.50 for a pair.

That looks like the one! Thanks!
Just while I'm here, where did you find that info? Might save me from posting daft questions again?

Thanks,

I purchased LED ones on eBay, no codes and they look good!

Sorry but cannot remember which item or seller either. But they were around £20-25

Interesting. Were they the complete housings with incorporated LEDs, or just LED festoon bulbs put into the original housings?

Looks like you have a facelift car. Are you getting any bulb warning errors on the dash? The facelift cars are notorious for this even with error-free CAN BUS LEDs so I would be interested to know if you've experienced this issue with yours and/or if you've done anything to get around the problem (such as fitting additional compensating resistors).

No problems what's so ever! They are complete units, you get a plug, plug it in.. Leads to a resistor then that leads to the whole unit, tuck it in, pop the whole bit in, and job done! I'll try find some on eBay now.
