Finished the bottom of my steering wheel. Needs slight touch up around the FR badge where the mask/tape pulled a little of the paint with it, but quite pleased non the less.

Its growing on me. Bit like a wart. Done one trip to Welsh Wales and it was pretty good tbh. Still struggling with the media system/sat nav ( too slow and not as user friendly imho as the RNS 315) the LED headlights ( NOT as good as Xenons, ) .

I know, RIP 315, how I miss you. New'un is a nice looking system and all but god is it slow, reminds me of my very old tomtom and i hear the upgraded 8" one is no faster either. And i've updated mine twice cos its free but made no difference!

I also read somewhere that someone compared his A3 LED's to his mates Leon's and the leons were more yellowy and he said they looked more likey halogen levels of output, must've been given bargain bin parts for the lights and tried to pass them off as the same as Audi's. Wonder if you can turn up the lighting wick on vcds tho...

Thanks Simon.

Had quite a good day today. Popped to my mates tyre place to have a new tyre put on the front for a tenner and he mentioned he had a few bits off his old MK2 FR lying about. I ended up with a Cupra front grille for free :)

Needs a little bit of a clean up but will stop my sprayed one from chipping :)

He also has an FR/Cupra pre-fl front and rear bumper in white if anyone's interested. He said I could have them both for £50 as they need a good clean and polish. Think I'll take them and resell unless anyone on here would like a bargain.

Also another pic of the bottom of my steering wheel.

Had a NIP through today from West Yorkshire police...

Looks like the guy that bought my FR has a speeding fine in less than 24 hours of ownership!

M1 northbound between junction 40 and 41, doing 58mph in the 50mph temporary roadworks.

Always see loads of people through that never ending stretch of 50 like it isnt even there. Glad to see they arent getting away with it, as frustrating as it is.

On the way down to my folks at xmas there was an info board along a 50 limit saying 'Please slow down, my dad works here'. Got an 'aww' from me and wor lass :)

Indeed people always fly through it!

Haha wor lass. Heard that saying for the first time a few weeks back for a newcastle lad on my uni course, didn't understand it at first and had to get him to repeat it about 5 times :D
