It seems they are re doing their website as the thing I got is not on there... I would email Dave on their site and ask him for the Leon pre-fl interior led pack, should get you enough to the 2 vanity mirrors, rear passenger lights, glove box and the main console lights above the dash... mine was £20...

Hope that helps

Cheers

i also now have 3!!! Different widths of wheels spacers to play with to try and create what i hope is the perfect E.T offset and flush look....watch this space...

Been out and saw a beautiful MK2 Cupra R really considering getting it. Could I have your honest opinion from the Cupra R owners?

How bad is the mpg and cost of running and the pleasure of owning one?

I currently have a 2.0 TDI PD170

Running a cupra can be expensive, I average around 32mpg on the motorway, and probably a lot less around town. I was doing roughly 90 miles a day and I'd go through a tank in 3 days, and that's mostly motorway driving.. Plus servicing/tyres/insurance/tax it can be a money pit lol

Its a lot worse than the diesel mate, i'm lucky in that mine isnt a daily. Put it this way i have a pretty comfortable lifestyle and i would grudge using this car as a daily, it wants to be driven hard and when you do (which for me is a lot) the fuel economy is horrendous

Be prepared to double your fuel costs

Double your road tax

Double your insurance

The question of fuel economy always seems to come up when people look to switch from what they currently have (normally diesel) to a petrol Cupra/R

If you are honestly bothered then stick with what you have, if you always have one eye on the petrol gauge there really is no point in owning one.

I personally don't think it is bad but then I've always had petrol and couldn't really care what mpg I get, that's not the reason I bought the car.

My figures would be.

Steady driving off boost = 35+
Hard driving 15-21
Normal driving with the odd squirt 25-30

You're unlikely to want to drive the car in such a way that you get the 35+ constantly, so in real world terms I'd say daily you'd look at around 28mpg (dependant on the trips you take)

Everything your saying is true, it would be my only car so it would be my daily car. I'm 23 I don't drive my car hard. If I had something like this and I ******** pulls up in a S3 wanting to show off... I'll let him because I have nothing to prove lol. But everyone tells me you only live once and when you decide to have your own house trying to fit something like this into your budget could be a bit difficult.

Just having a think about it lol thanks for the replies :D

35+?????

Only way you'd get that would be if the car was being transported on the back of a wagon lol

Money for insurance doesn't bother me lol.. I've paid over 10k for insurance for the past 6 years.

But because I'm 23 don't bother? I'm sure Andrew is like 24 or something and he has one lol?
