a bit of help on the pd150 please - fault codes

had running issues for a while now
have my own scanner and vcds free version & the only fault i get is glow plug and wheel speed sensor

but had my car compression tested and a proper vcds scan done and here are the results



17055 -cylinder 1 glow plug circuit (q10) P0671 -35-00 - Electrical fault

18072- control circuit for PD injectors P1664 - 35 - 00 Electrical Malfunction

00283 - ABS wheel speed sensor;front left (G47) 008 - implausible signal - intermittent

00283 - ABS wheel speed sensor;front left (G47) 012 - Electrical fault in circuit - intermittent

01314 - Engine control module - 013 Check dtc memory - intermittent



is this just a wheel speed sensor gone or the contacts on the hub ?? but why throw the two codes up ??

any help on any of it is much appreciated , car smokes when hot at idle , blue ish grey does not smoke at all under load or WOT and to avoid choking poeple at traffic i have to give the throttle a quick blip to stop it for a short period

also does not fire straight away need to hodl key on to wind it up

all of them and use genuine plugs, got mine for dave at sere for around £10 each which is a big saving.

i would check the head loom, and where the main loom runs up to the connector thats where the glow plug loom connects.
Does sound like injector seals are leaking are u getting oil in fuel
sounds like wheel bearing could be dying causing that fault, but every leon ive changed pads on the connectors are damaged for the abs and pad sensors

thanks , guys , i changed the glowplug loom last year
will order some oem plugs as i thing i ordered some from local parts shop think they were called beru ?

i think somethings happening with fueling as its a bluish smoke on tickover nothing when revved or wot - yet its not using oil ??


as for the wheel speed sensor , ordered a genuine one and had it fitted on sat

though great abs and tcs lights are off , , took car for a run around my village mmixed turns etc , even tried wheel spinning and tcs kicked in ( its been so long since thats worked !! )

dropped car off at my mothers for a few hrs , and when i got home from the rugby to pick it back up as soon as i started lights back on , i though FFS

so now car is back to how it was abs and tcs lights back on as soon as car is started , on occations i can drive a few hundred yards before light triggers

i inspected the rear part of the hub and could not see any damage there
