My Lunar Grey Mk2 FR

Hey all, thought it was about time I started one of these threads.

So here she is, My 06 plate MK2 Seat Leon FR in Lunar Grey.

I've had her just over a month and I'm seriously loving every minute of it!

Havent done anything to her yet but I've got some stuff ordered.

Heres what I have ordered so far:

AMD DPF Delete
AMD Performance Remap
HID's (8000k)
Ultra Bright Fogs
Ultra Bright Side Lights LED's
Ultra Bright Number Plate Lights LED's
Pressed Plates
Wind Deflectors
Pipercross Panel Filter

I've also ordered some Vinyl to play around with the colors a bit, I have some gloss black for the Wing Mirror caps etc and some Carbon Fiber style Vinyl in Purple.

Plans for the future:

Ermm, to be honest I'm not too sure,

Some Tasteful Stickers (possibly a SeatCupra.net one ).
Clear indicator bulbs
DRL's
Possibly EGR/Coolant Delete in the future.
Wheels refurbed, possibly sprayed a different color... (Thinking a Dark Purple)
Spray the engine cover(s)
possibly lower it (although I do love the drive and the stance at the moment so this is a Maybe).
possibly a custom exhaust made (I took my old MG ZR160 to Pipecraft in Basildon and was very happy with the results)
And Also I need to give it a proper clean, I haven't had chance yet .

Well, thats it so far, hopefully i'll be adding lots more over the summer.

Little Update,

Tonight I fitted my new sidelights and my HID kit, got my new fogs through but can't figure out how to change them because of the Bodykit, I think i'll just stick it on a ramp and go from underneath .

Loving the Lights though, really makes a difference.

Small update: Today I replaced those God-awful number plates with some lovely new pressed plates. (finally)

Pics of the lights will be up soon, didnt think there was much point uploading pics of the plates as I tend to remove the lettering lol.

I cleaned the engine bay with WD40 haha, actually came up really nicely .

Another small update today too: my pipercross panel filter turned up, will be fitting it later

Are the 8000k HID's not a little blue/dull? I have 6000k and wouldn't want to go any more blue.

Like the wheel idea tho.

Nah they are pretty bright tbh my vision has definitely improved, to a point where i dont actually use my high beams anymore.

And that is with HID's on.


I also put my Pipercross Panel Filter in today.

Havent really noticed any difference in sound but the throttle response has improved slightly. .

So I just got home from AMD, car just got the DPF delete and Remap can honestly say its amazing, it drives like a completely different car, and the power is awesome.

Really happy with the results.

Thanks mate, i love it, its the only lunar grey leon ive seen with the kit on it, plus lunar grey was my first colour choice because i fell in love with the dark grey mk1 Leons haha. Some people think it hides the grills a bit too much but i like it

They look lovely!

I have recently been corrected lol, its not actually Lunar Grey, its Zenith Grey, seems inhave to change the name of my thread haha.

Yeah its like a completely different car and the extra power has made it so much easier to drive (not that it was hard in the first place)

Hmmm...jumping into another thread I'm in at the moment...the curve seems really similar to what the DTUK box gives...and with more power.

Only plus side is that you're not guaranteed to knack your DPF

do you find your car spins up more? as it looks like the power comes in really early and your peak torque seems to be very low down in the rev range.
