Such a shame it costs so much! And cams too, 1300 quid is madness, though is there 4 of them in the R's, or just the two? Forgot how expensive bigger cars are to mod. I know what you mean about piece of mind though, I've done the same with mine, just bought everything possible for it that will help it in the long run. Nothing worse than things going wrong, especially with timing gear!

Just the 2. They're a V6 but only have 1 cylinder head. Work that out Think there is only 5 degrees or something between the V. So they're a V6, but not at the same time.
I think that's what manufacturers think with expensive cars, "they can afford to buy it, run it and insure it, so they can pay a fortune in repairs." Which really isnt the case at all! lol! I have hardly been able to mod this compared to how often I was beating mods onto the Ibiza! I mean, even for a big service inc 4wd service, VW want like £500-£600 notes! It's unreal. 2 rear springs cost me £170ish I think! It's trying my patience, but it's SUCH a nice car. And you're only young once
