funny you say that
my car went in for its 40k service with a missfire , i knew it was plugs again causing it (my went through plugs at about every 8k miles because they set the timing wrong on my car for 3 1/2 years grrrrrrr , but thats another story) so i thought , no problem new plugs will be fitted on the service.
Got the car back drove away and missfired , checked the service sheet no mention of plugs?
went back to the dealer and this is what they told me " SEAT service schedule for plugs is 60k miles " , i said i dont think so , they were adament , so i said phone up SEAT and i will wait here while you do it , low and behold 20 seconds into the conversation 40k is mentioned.
my plugs were fitted free of charge , but thats not the point the so called "experts" knew absolutley nothing , and i was paying £125 + vat an hour for their labour.

Fortunately (or unfortunately?) my car is under warranty so this should be a free fix....but I dunno how long it'll take!!!!

I will mention plugs and see what they say. They'll probably think I am talking about the plug from the coffee machine, the f**kin mongs

Mate it sounded like you wrecked your engine when you pulled away :( Sounded like the other cylinders decided to join in on the misfiring game hehehe
Take it easy on the poor beast.

Your error readout:

P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

P0301 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0303 - Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected

Check plugs/injectors.
Could also be your dodgy map ;) ..but if it's always worked until now.

Cheers for the ride though!! Good power in them Cupras.

In all fairness...was an easy one

Your car totally sounded like it paid a penny...and then sh*t all over its shorts

Alrigt mate just seen you got it sorted. Good lad

What plugs did you put in.

Mine started doing this after my 40k service and the plugs were changed but I have since had them changed again.

Could it be worth changing again?

Mine is a bit juddery on idle some times.

Glad you got yours sorted though. Were the plugs making that rattling sound?

I honestly think it's a total different issue I'm afraid mate :(

My car still makes the fluttering sound, BUT it is now back to full power. So i think this was a different problem

sorry:(

To le honest it was annoying but as it didn't affect the power I was not too bothered.

One guy I spoke to said it could be a tensioner that just squeals under load.

Yeah . I don't know if they would have touched it or not or has it happened naturaly.

Either way tim garage that did my cambelt and pump looked at the noise briefly and just wanted me to pay for a replacement turbo. £1800 fitted!!!!!!
