It takes more than snow to stop me setting up my car.

Ah the million dollar question, do I go stage 2 or do I save and buy a K1? One thing I do really like the look of on the Cupra R's is D.K's painted splitter. Really changes the stance of the car from the front. I don't know some days I really want to keep this and others I just feel like I need a stage 2 K1 and 365bhp in my life!

Going with a black and silver theme, I know alot of people think it looks better if you debadge the whole car but im trying to do something different.

Update time:

Cleaning for the first time after winter.

IMG_0008.jpg

Wheels off and brembos cleaned.

IMG_0003.jpg

Alloys were very dirty.

IMG_0005.jpg

Not for long.

IMG_0004.jpg

Much better.

IMG_0006.jpg

Some of my products on the bonnet of the beater I use to test them.

IMG_0009.jpg

Seats out!

IMG_0019.jpg

IMG_0018.jpg

Made a lot easier with the new socket set.

IMG_0015.jpg

Quite simple really, just remove these.

IMG_0013.jpg

Then the two nuts at the front.

IMG_0012.jpg

Slide back and tip so you can unplug the airbags.

IMG_0016.jpg

IMG_0017.jpg

In with the new!

They look similar but are so much better, the standard seats are some of the worst I have come across in a sporty car and this swap has fixed that and keeps the OEM+ look that I want.

IMG_0021.jpg

Then to end the day I took my mate to pick up his new car.

IMG_0011.jpg

Really happy for him its a lovely example with very low miles, a few of us are gonna get together with our cars over easter so I will upload some more pics of it then.

You will love your recaros it was the best thing I done to my car
Did you put the rears in too

No mate im afraid I only managed to get the front ones, I have seen the rears on yours and they look great! Maybe in the future I will pick some up.

loving the new seats mate. i want a set now :) also im glad i found your readers ride at last :)

Cheers Sam i'm glad you found me too! We will have to meet up when I pick up a FMIC from AMD. I could use an extra eye and you must be something of an expert on fitting them by now! I want to put a catch tank in too really.

Anyway I hadn't noticed how long it's been since I updated on here so I better add some more pics!

Front and rear strut braces plus my Jetex, heat shield and 80mm T.I.P (Thank you B5)

Swapped the number plate bulbs over to LED's.

DSCF0450.jpg

Gives a nice clean white light instead of yellow, my mate says it looks like something out of Need for Speed when he is following me but I think it looks great.

DSCF0451.jpg

Also got front LED's for the sidelights.

DSCF0452.jpg

This is with the mains on too, you can't really see it but in person the sidelights are blue and the mains are more yellow which I really like.

DSCF0453.jpg

I also have LED's for the interior bulbs too but I haven't taken pics yet.
