How did you fit a double din player in there? Its only a single din in the leon im getting. Or is it a custom job? If so, can you still get access to OBD2 port?

Im also after jetex red cone filter and jabbasport filter heatshield. Where did you get them from?

Also where abouts in Shropshire are you, im in Ludlow?

Thanks.

Ok so yesterday fitted the boost gauge. Its a Glowshift 30 PSI gauge in a nomad black single pillar pod. Total cost was £85 so not too bad really.

Cars over boosting to 30 PSI, think that's cause i've got some dodge hoses near the pancake pipe thats going to be replaced with an SFS item.

Colour match of the gauge is quite good to the speed clocks and the nomad pillar is a good copy of the originals as well.

Had problems wiring the boost gauge in to the light dimmer, just kept flickering. Not sure if i wired it wrong or the bulbs in the glowshift gauges dont like to be dimmed.

30 psi is definitely over-boosting! These as standard are only meant to boost 21.7 psi!

It's not putting it in limp which such an over-boost?

nope still driving ok and no limp light. Just to eliminate the boost gauge being incorrect, i have a liquid leon gauge which also shows boosting to 30 psi.

Could this just be my the boost pipes down near the intercooler\pancake pipe, cause i know them clips that hold the pipes together are on there way out.

Wanted to change them all for some SFS red silicone ones anyway ?

Hi mate, which delete kit did you go for? and did you get a dash light come on after fitted?
I have looked at these but been put off by folk saying an EML comes on and needs mapped out & the anti shudder valve doesn't work properly.
Any info would be great cheers...............oh and nice motor thread there ;)

Hi, i got the allard EGR delete kit from here
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Allard-1-...arParts_SM&hash=item27c3677fe0#ht_1823wt_1163

Havent had any problems or lights come up. When i took off the EGR is was nearly solid with soot. Had alot less smoke since putting on the EGR kit. Happy with it so far and had it on for about 6 months or so now

I suppose you are running 193bhp, I had forgotten that. If your pipes are on the way out or clips etc, I would imagine you would be suffering low boost due to boost leaks. Is there oil to be seen round them?

I would imagine the correct boost for your power would be about 28psi max, so maybe afterall you're not over boosting at all even.

I aint an expert as I'm running standard map still. But I know a lad with 180bhp and over 300ft lbs who's boosting to 27psi.

Oops! BruceR i was looking at.

God that must be some yoke to go! Wheelspin mad I'd say!

Is it harder on juice with that boost?

By the way, after you give her a good rev, let off throttle and engage the next gear, do you hear a snappy hissy sound, like the excess boost is getting let off back into the system?

Ok tonight i fitted a new fuel filter and braided hoses with red hose finishers.

Not sure i totally like it yet cause the water hoses are all red, but it might grow on me or look better once ive changed a few more pipes to silicone red and silver braided.

Thanks :D

There T5 Led lights. Got mine on eBay but can't seem to find them now. Do a search on here or another member might be able to point you in the right direction as a few of us on here have done it. They need some modding and fiddle to get in but work ok.
