Cheers milburnj. Poorboys products are great and smell even better :). I would love to smooth some panels similar to your ibiza but I might finish the interior off and enjoy everything as I hope to purchase a Golf R32 next year.

Hi.

Sorry for delay in responding and thanks for commenting.

To remove the wheel, it is exactly the same method adopted to remove the wheel from a mk4 golf. You turn the wheel 90 degrees to the left and you can gain access inside the wheel from a small hole at the top near the dials. You need to stick a screwdriver in here and pop the metal clip holing the air bag in place. Do the exact thing by turning the wheel 90 degrees to the right and repeating the procedure. Centre piece should pop off and you can remove the wheel with a spline set. (Have a search on google for mk4 gold steering wheel removal).

At this point, all of the wires scared me and I took it to a garage to be completed ...sissy I know haha.

Boss wise, I think it is a standard momo mk4 golf fitment but worth double checking I just gave my detail to the company and they sent everything that was needed.

If you need more info, try dropping Chief_Kris off here a message as he has also fitted one :)

Hope this is of some help.

With more time on my hands now that I've finished Uni I decided to get busy fixing the car. New flexi pipe and CAT to replace the broken system which had taken a hammering whilst I was on coilovers.

The engine has also developed a stutter which I believe is down to the coilpacks/ fuel injectors playing up. So I plugged the car into vag-com and coil packs 2 and 3 were down along with injector number 2....NOT COOL! All of these have been replaced yet the stutter is still there and a fault is showing on coil pack number 1.....sigh! This will be replaced sometime next week.

Anyway, here is a video which the car was featured in (see if you can spot it :) ):
