Only 2-3 weeks late responding to this request......not bad at all :D

I also found your name posted on SCN the other day......I was going to add you on FB and freak you out with some South Wales dirty talk haha.

Everything hidden as I wanted. Work will start on a boot install which will also include finishing the interior off in the new year.

They suit to car so well though

Ahh thanks Mike. But I really do fancy a change.

Also, a few mk4 Ibiza owners are purchasing and fitting the same wheels too so it might be time to move on :(

You've paid out for the air-ride so may aswell get some showy sort of wheels, comps are more subtle and not showy

I second that brother. I shall keep an eye out for something special in the for sale section of a few forums.

Everyone does bbs! Be different, get some rotiform SJC's :D they're my new favourite :D

Rotiform SJC, I've never seen a set of those before. They look like a mix up of DZ, CCW and BBS wheels. Rather cool too.

I agree with this! [B)]

Or maybe OZ Futura's which would be cheaper? I'd love them for mine, if only I had the money.

Good selection of wheel and indeed cheaper. Quite rare to find a set after a quick search too !! Poo.

There are a few wheels I like but as you say £££ is the big issue.

I want the comps!

So get new wheels.. :D

Ha ha ha. Sure thing Phil :)

If you do rotiforms, I take back any good thing I've ever said haha

Big fan ey Scott ha ha. The rotiform trend reminds me a little of the rota trend in all honesty. So I'm sure it will run out of gas very soon.

Stealth install, and cheaper than a hardline/show install. May spray the tank and raise it so it is slightly on show but not fussed in all honesty.

I was reading a readers rides thread and your name popped up on it somewhere so I was going to add you for poo and giggles :)... will do next time but staying off facebook for personal reasons at the moment.

There was a set of 17 x 7.5 OZ Futura's for sale on Edition yesterday for £500, sold within 6 hours though!
I would have been so tempted to buy them if I'd saw them before they were sold, hardly ever see any and £500 is pretty cheap.

Funny you should mention those wheels. I was looking at the exact same advert about 20 minutes ago......shame we missed out on this. Oh well next time.

You really have me going on the O.Z brand now as I'm looking at O.Z breytons in 17x8 and 17x9 :)

I'm on German eBay now searching for OZ Futuras lol! Told myself I wouldn't bother changing wheels again, but there's sooo many wheels I'd love to have on my car.

I'd never heard of Breytons before but googled them there, think I prefer Futuras but still nice!

What don't you like about rotiforms?

Yeh they just seem the 'typical I can't think for myself' choice. The whole fatlace, hellaflush thing just does my head in lol

Yes people stick bbs rs/rm's on everything but this is not just a phase, it will always be like that because they are a timeless motorsport classic and when people fit them they go through allot of effort to build them up how they want.

My thoughts are the same about sticking grid drifts on everything yeh lol though tbh rotiform are making some pretty hot wheels now, think everyone sticking blq's on everything has just tarnished the name somewhat. Just personal opinion

Yeh the install is class, much better hidden away! And yeh no bother mate :)

Decided that the wheels are staying so prep work begins :)

I have new steel valves, wheel bolts, centre caps, 20mm spacers and camber shims ready to fit when the wheels return from a fresh powdercoat.

I'm also going to lower the car a bit further by conducting some super secret work haha.

So here is a picture of the wheels before they were taken off the car as I hate posts with no photographs:

Full write up of the wheels and extra lowering will follow sometime soon.

Looking forward to seeing more lows

Laying frame ;-)

I'm laying plastic undertray at the moment....not quite the same I know!

I just want the arch to tyre position sitting a little better which should be a days work to resolve.....I think/hope!

I've been keeping a close eye on your progress too. Can't wait to see it back with a new interior as I really want to see a full on side shot of the car :D

Also found you on facebook.............Damn girllllllllllllllllll ha ha.

as i was reading that i was thinking that the pic was a refurbed wheel not one thats going in to be re powder coated.

Hah ha. The wheels photograph well but on closer inspection you can see one or two minor chips which are bugging the Jesus out of me. I also fancy a colour change so a refurb is certainly needed :)

Thank you Mr.N :)

Appreciate the kind comments. Would the 16" wheels be Schmidt ML? (Had a quick look at your Ibiza which looks great).
