It's proper goosesdmate, tried everything I know to get it off, text JNL to ask if it something he can sort for me, I'm sure it is

They should be able to get it off and will have equipment to heat it up, etc but being labour intensive could be expensive if its a swine

JP @ JNL racing wanted the engine in assembled form so that he could asses the engine when it was stripped down. Got the manifold and turbo off the car but the turbo is still attached to the manifold, need to try and take it to a workshop or similar and see if they can weld a socket onto it and get it off.

Took a couple of comparison photos between k04 and GT3071r compact compressor housing

And the turbine housing

The k04 looks to be in good condition, no play in the shaft no cracks etc.

Got everything for the engine build now, going to get this lot in the post next week to JP, watch this space for build photos.

Thought I would take a quick few pics of the other bits that I've got waiting to go on,

Tail MV-S 38mm waste gate

75mm DBW throttle body

I've noticed with this that there is no bead around the mouth of the TB, think I'm going to need to get the metal putty out or weld a bead on otherwise I can see it blowing off hoses on boost.

Bosch EV14 750cc injectors

Full hose & installation kit

Adapter plate with tap for WMI

Just opened another box and found a set of flywheel bolts, now I have 2 sets FFS! Always look in every box before ordering more stuff.

Spent today stripping the gearbox down in preparation for an inspection and diff install.

Differential removed

The rivets on the diff are the hardest metal I have ever come across, going to need to take it somewhere with air tools to drill them out.

Not done a lot on the car today, removed the old engine mounts ready for something new,

Going to order some gearbox sealant and try and find somewhere to drill out the diff bolts.

Cobalt bits should get through them, going to order some tomorrow as couldn't find any in my garage. 6mm and 12mm should do the trick.

You might want a smaller one just to pilot through easier, something like 3mm?
