Class that mate, can't believe how high it goes! :0

What's next?

Thanks Scott, appreciate the kind words. It does go rather high. Funny when you crawl in and climb out of the car haha.

Urm......maybe finish interior off and a change of wheels and that's it. Will continue to use the car as a daily and purchase something new as a weekend warrior when I finish my masters and get a decent job.

That is wicked! Would hate to think how much the whole thing cost!

Seriously.......don't go there haha, but thanks for the kind comment :)

I bet that would get some funny looks if you left it parked up that high!

Did you have anything done to the arches/liners?

I parked it with the nose down sunday night and it was priceless :D haha.

The chassis was notched but the arches were not modified at all. I had to ditch the front spacers as the wheels would have fouled on the outside arch as its quite a chunky bit of plastic. ....so to answer your question- no :)

Looks really good mate! Can you raise it when driving or is it limited for use when handbrake applied or something? Would get some looks raising it right up for speedbumps

You can use them on the move, that lad i know with the aired r32 (posted pics last page) said he had a focus st right up his bumper so he just started making it go up and down and that haha said the bloke looked confused!

Any pics of the install matey? I like that side of air just as much as the overall look of the car!

Thanks Mick. The air-ride can be operated on the move as Scott said which is rather cool and very practical at times :). Funny looks sums it up well ha.

Ha ha I bet the Sexually Transmitted Focus was seriously confused.

The install is basic and hidden in the spare wheel compartment as I wanted everything hidden and out of the way but I'll get a photograph and upload it sometime soon for you :)

Loads of work gone into this car! Any plans on converting the engine? Also, is the ride good on the air suspension if set at a 'normal' height (as in like a citroen lol)?

Thanks for the knid words. Really appreciate it :)

I am tempted to divert my attention to the engine but I always have second thoughts as it is used daily and I'll probably buy something special next year as a weekend car and keep this for the run-around. I'll probably fit a dbilas intake manifold and s/s exhaust manifold over winter though just for looks.

In all honesty the air suspension is great. Set to a citroen ride height (haha) it performs jut like coilover with extra comfort.

Erm 16's 7.5j et20 up front and 9j et25 rear I think. With tyres and good tread, probably about 400 but they'll need a refurb :)

Bridges with the toyota :)? hahaha what are the chances of this happening. How are you?

Cheers buddy, appreciate the kind words. I'm at a turning point with the wheels, either refurbish them in a dark silver or sell them and purchase a set of schmidt modern lines!

HELP.

I'm also going to replace the mk4 golf top mounts that I'm now using for 6n2 polo top mounts which are much thinner and should free up another cm or so up front :D
