Got the MY12 Leon FR 1.4 TSi, and am very pleased with it so far.
But, brochure says I should have "Hill Hold Control".
I have tried it as it says in emmanuel, but each time I roll backwards.
Am I doing something wrong, or does it need a trip to the dealers?
Thanks,
dv.
My september 2010 Cupra had it. My december 2010 Cupra R doesnt. Seems rather weird that it doesnt. But imo its rather rubbish anyway. Holds the rear brakes on for to long, just takes to much acceleration to get it to disengage. Compared to a Grande Punto I had years ago, the hill holder was far better on that.
The harshness of the hill hold can be adjusted!
How can you adjust it? (guessing vagcom)
I know on my Ibiza (manual g'box) it only activates if you put the car into neutral on a hill with your foot on the brake. I have stalled due to it but am getting used to it now.
cheers

Doesnt sound like youve got it at all fella......
+1. It's definitely in the category of "solution to a problem which didn't exist", but now that I'm used to it, I appreciate it e.g. when queuing through a multistorey carpark.ive got used to it now, i wonder if going to another car without it will probably catch me out, and it makes life a lot easier than constantly being on your clutch or handbrake in traffic up a hill imo
