So what other plans you got then ??

hah where do i start?

Plans that are happening:

Refurb wheels (then swap them probably, bored of them)
fit 3" decat + remove middle box

Plans that are a maybe:

Respray (same colour)
Engine rebuild (maybe with forged internals... not sure)
Stage 2 (maybe more if i forge it)

thats as far as im looking for now, the car is on 108k and still seems healthy enough, but we all worry dont we lol. more little changes than big ones.

I'd love to source another lump, rebuild and then fit it... but its having the time/money to do so lol.

small update:

need to raise my suspension this weekend as the passenger wheel has rubbed through the arch liner on full lock, and now its making an awful noise! will bring it up 10mm should be enough.

Id guess my car is more than 40mm atm... as there is no arch gap really.

im currently investigating an oil consumption too... from max to minimum in 2months... but according to my posts, its 2k miles in two months so thats within vw's "allowed" limit... so maybe im worrying for nothing.

still having issues with finding a friendly MOTer too, and no sign of my 3" decat

No de-cat? When did you win it? what is the seller saying?

Yeah it is in the spec but so many cars on here, mine included, don't use any inbetween changes.
I guess some are just heavier than others.

well, the seller said they would try and post last saturday... nothing since. im giving him 30days then i will reverse the payment so not too bothered... seems like a nice guy and does have feedback for slow postage.

Andy_lang has the exact same issue as mine... and after speaking to Seat, they said if its boosting hard and not chucking smoke... it's either a leak that i'd notice or just using lots of oil?

i meant when i look at it... 2000miles in two months is mental, and all of those are short journeys (either less than 2miles or around 15) which can affect oil usage.

when i service the car, im going to put good quality oil in.. currently running VW spec oil which seems to be a bit thin.

Yeah some sellers are sooo slow, even a pair of kids shoes we got recently took nearly a week.
I do 6k a year all low miles , a few a day in reality, every other week 70 mile round trip.
Yeah if it's being blown out the exhaust you'd know about it.

i've decided to stop being a tart about the car... im beginning to get on my own tits.

sat in a carpark earlier on the phone, and the sun was shining through the window, and i could see fumes coming from behind the car... and i started worrying!

Then realised all cars have fumes, and mines decatted so man up!

MOT next week, and i have a mate putting my cat back on for £20, which is a result. im going to sell the decat whilst its off the car i think, and run the Cat until either the 3" i bought turns up or i find another one.

Favour: Could someone estimate how low my car is from the pics lately? as im scrubbing on the front arch, and i ddidnt think im that low, although i think the RS6 reps are wider than standard wheels?

yeah £20 for the cat back on, will sell it for some extra cash and run the cat until i can get a 3" DP... thats set... and as xmas is coming im sure i will sell it within a day or two on ed38 or ebay

christ, i thought it was only 30mm! i need to check if the RS6s are wider or not, then bring my sus up accordingly.

im going to have to bring it up then, as im getting scraping and a slight knocking which i assume is my CV joint, but could just be the tyre catching when the road is lumpy...

so i have one of the last sets of Leon Cupra mats, a boot tidy and the protectors

part of me cant work out if its criminal tinting them just for Meets etc..

Leon passed its MOT saturday

Got a couple of advisories to deal with.. including an Oil leak which would make sense as to why im using oil... but the charming garage wouldnt tell me where from! *******s.

Ordered two Falken 452s this morning £150 to the door... lovely.

3" Decat goes on Saturday, and im going to get the tires fitted, and if there is time get the suspension raised.
