Theres a little sandwhich shop near my office. I go there everyday and get myself a nice roll, usually chicken curry or chicken and bacon.
Theres two people work there a man and a lady. I'll say to the lady, some lettuce and a little bit of onion please. She does so.

I like, nay love raw red onion! It tastes great! Its gorram brilliant in my roll.

If i say to the guy, some lettuce and a little bit of onion please. He loads it up. He's done it again today, as I sit here writing this, my roll has been raped by red onion. I cant taste any of the delicious chicken curry filling, just the pre heart burn flavour of a small french onion farm.

The moral of this story is simple, dont paint the inside of yoru ****ign car red! Anywhere!

fixed my window regulator then broke the door - £30
    fixed the door - £free
resealed both front doors to stop them leaking - £5
new LCR handbrake gaitor - £10
LCR 210 steering wheel (i refuse to pay for the "proper" LCR one) - 20

and i washed the car, and gave the engine bay a quick wipe down... looks ok but will need doing again.

washing the car shows that the paintwork is suffering so i was in half minds about a respray before, now im 100% going to have it done... along with an FMIC ad stage 2 :)

i have the front and Rear "S" badges the same colour too... but not got a pic as the car is filthy!

finally got a boost gauge in too.. the "universal" boost holder was a royal f*ck to install... cue dremel and brute force! :D

gauge.jpg

boosts nicely, peaks at 20 PSI and holds at 18 :)

That shade of red is sweet! You thought of doing the silver ring on your knob (get your mind out the gutter) red as well?

i have yeah, but its an arse to mask... and i dont want to ruin my knob :)lol:)

im going to get another knob and gaitor and redone the gaitor and then try that ring... unless i can get the ring off... but dont want to go attacking my knob when i need to use it..

My mate has actually done his ring in red, I can't remember how he did it though but he said its not lasting very well probably because his hand is always on it. I can ask him about it if you want!

yeah get ur back up knob and then if you batter it it doesn't matter.

Purchased the following over the last few days:

New windscreen - £90 excess (2nd one in three months! :censored:)
3" DP and decat - £55 (should get £50 for mine hopefully)
Piping to make my own o2 spacers

Tax due 31st and MOT due on the 7th, so shouldnt have bought the DP etc... but it was too good to pass up!

Im worried about bushes during the MOT thats about it if im honest... i have play in bearings but i hope its enough to just get through.

The bra is off at the moment! i decided to run without it for a while.

I have my eye on a cobra exhaust i've seen, but i dont know if i can justify the spend why my milltek works!

Is it the one on eBay? I'm watching that too!
Unless you have knocks coming from the suspension should be fine! Kwik sh*t were being idiots when they failed mine! This is what I had to do to get my new lower arm to tighten up as the bolt that goes in the subframe wouldn't tighten as the nut had come off the inside of the subframe!

It happened to my cupra too and on one i was working in my garage. In mine i just cut it opened and welded the bloody nut back and on the other I have just drilled a small hole next to the nut to put a screwdriver thru it to hold the nut in place - it worked great :)
