Any difference in performance, mpg, smoke emissions?
My egr was blocked and open all the time so when ticking over it was getting far too much air and exhaust fumes, plus the MAF died too - wasn't nice to be around the back of the car!

How you find the redex filter? Again any difference in mpg, performance? Sound?

I've only took it around the block so can't really comment on MPG, but it sounds different can hear the turbo spoiling louder with the filter. Was booting it down a back road and can't see any visible smoke through the back window like I sometimes do, and car is more responsive. When I took my egr off though there was that much soot I was losing about 50% of it's diameter with build up. So overall happy with the results, I'll test the mpg when I have a longer run.

Cool!
Sounds good! I'm thinking about a Cone Filter with a cold air feed if possible. MarkWales was very happy with his Carbino kit which, when rolling roaded, looked like it made a significant gain in power. I have a boost gauge installed so I'll know exactly if it's helping with boost anyway. It's peaking at 22psi at the mo with just de-cat and egr disengaged anyway.
Sure let us know if and when you notice any change in performance, turbo, mpg etc. Very interested in this!

also heres my revised ipad 2 dash mount clip i made.

I mounted a powerful magnet on the dash between the 2 front vents and just made a metal bracket that clips on to the ipad and sticks to the magnet. The bracket on the ipad has soft rubber foam on the inside as to grip and not scratch the ipad. Magnet is so strong the ipad stits solid while driving and doesnt move at all. Can even bluetooth the ipad to my headunit and use it as a media centre.

Well I'd say cars abit more responsive and sounds better, mpg is no better or worse. Still getting about 55mpg on the motorway as before.

Cool, nice.

Yeah Im looking to do little things to help it along rather than map it coz that can be fairly severe. I think that when you actually work with what the car already has it can be improved a lot. DO you reckon your acceleration is slightly improved?

This could have helped reduce smoke under heavy acceleration due to allowing more air in that cancells out fuel.

Yes seems to pick up abit quicker. Breaths better with the jetex and the bigger TIP. Smokes alot less too but I fitted a egr delete kit at the same time so think that's cut down the smoke.

Some air filters have oil in the panel and this can damage or write off the MAF, a good quality one should be fine, like yours. Reducing smoke is always good, mines decatted so it stinks and smokes a lot

great partner! I mount the kit by Allard, but not too abrupt shutdown turns off valve for you;-( case resolved?
