Not much of an update but the Ibiza now has the Falkens fitted. Havent had much of a drive with them yet but I am liking them so far, road noise is alot less than the Kuhmo's that they replaced.

As Im on holiday this week hopefully it will get a good detail either tomorrow or Thursday then I maybe nice and upload some new pictures!!

WOW your car looks smart mate :)

Thanks mate!! :D

Its weird tho as they are a 45 profile same as the Kuhmo's I have on just now, but like I said above the sidewall on the Falkens looks much smaller..

I had Falkens on my SEAT Sport SuperT's and agree the side walls are smaller and taper off quicker. I thought they looked good.

I found them to be a hard compound and a bit of a handful when pushed in the wet.

There are some pics early in my RR thread.

Ive got the Falkens the same wheels and I like the way they look with the sidewalls being smaller. Think I will be able to drop it alittle more aswell at the front now too. :funk:

Craig, you're taking the mick! You even announced it on your thread title! Get on it!! PICS :)

Now now Llyr, you know the Guiness saying 'All good things come to those that wait'. [B)]

Well as it was pouring down with rain today which meant I couldnt get the car washed, I decided to do something else.

So I started with these:

.

When I removed the gauge pod/holder and matched it up to the interior panel, I didnt like how it was sitting. IMO it was sitting far to high so....... :cartman:

....... I modified the pod using a hacksaw and a dremel tool and got it sitting much lower.

And here are some pics of it fitted:

.

I prefer the way it sits now, it sits much lower down. :D. It is nearly all wired in, just got to wire it to pick up the tacho signal, just waiting on more info on it.

More Updates soon.

Wow! Your car looks class mate!! I could have swore I have commented on here before :S But the roof looks amazing! The colour of the roof, looks slightly like the colour of my car.. Cupra Starfish Alloys are deffinately needed.. Or some p0rno looking deepdish! Starfish will probs look better though.. Your car is without a doubt a transformation from when you first got it.. Again dude, Car looks amazing! And your car looks like it has a bigger engine under the bonnet, it would really suit a 20vt :)

Just spent about 45 minutes reading through this entire thread. Your car looks stunning and it's clear that a LOT of work has gone into it, from keeping it in good nick, modifying it (tastefully!) and relentlessly cleaning it. Much respect for that, and to be fair, it all pays off because you wouldn't look at that car and assume it was 13 years old. Looks very new. Great example of a Mk.2, probably the best I've seen yet.

What are your plans for the car in the future? Will you be selling up, driving it into the ground or upgrading the engine? Imo, it would be a shame to see this car go!

Thanks mate!! I really appreciate the comment. The roof is actually a Ford Colour, it is Magnum Grey. I got the colour from my Fiancee's mums Focus that she bought 6 months or so ago. Really fancying some Cupra Starfish Alloys in Red to compliment the interior. Only a little 1.4 under the bonnet but there is loads of room for something else!! Maybe one day!.
